Jen & Marc – Wedding Ceremony & Reception at the Historic 512Fort Worth, TX

Jen and Marc got married on a Wednesday at the Historic 512!  What makes this fun is that these two decided to tie the know on November 1st, which was Day of the Dead.  The groom’s last name was La Morte, so this was fitting! These two got married surrounded by their close friends and family.  Their reception had a very romantic feel, with beautiful flowers, candelabras, and vintage furniture.  Check out a few of my favorite moments from their day!

Heather & Ed {Married Part 2-Romantics and Reception} Halloween Wedding at Private Residence and Off the Grid in Dallas

Heather and Ed’s Reception was one of the most unique receptions I have ever photographed. Since it was the weekend of Halloween, and it was Heather and Ed’s favorite holiday they decided to make it a full on costume party! Everyone dressed up, and it was a blast. It was held at Off the Grid in Dallas which was the perfect location for such a spooky event. Sweet Pea Events transformed the venue into a Haunted House, Astounding Sounds did an awesome job on lighting, while Di Fiori created some scary table arrangements and Gil’s Elegant Catering provided goolish drinks and yummy food.  Here are some of my favorites from their spooky reception and to die for romantics!

Heather & Ed {Married Part 1-Preperations and Ceremony} Halloween Wedding at Magnolia Hotel and Private Residence in Dallas

Heather and Ed’s wedding was definitely one of my favorite weddings to photograph this year. I could really go on and on about it! These two had a Halloween themed wedding at a private residence and a great big party at Off the Grid in Dallas. They had a fabulous team of vendors that made really this day a success. Kelly with Sweet Pea Events coordinated the whole event while Heather and Ed live in Chicago, Colby Logan at Astounding Sounds did their lighting and DJ, DiFiori created some fabulously unique flower arrangements, Panini Bakery made a very spooky cake and Gil’s Elegant Catering provided the fantastic food!

Their ceremony was such a sweet affair. There were definitely tears from me as well as the bride and groom. One of my favorite moments was when Ed wiped Heather’s tears as she said her vows to him. Another funny moment was watching Heather and Ed kiss before they were pronounced husband and wife-the preacher had to point this out as he pronounced them exclaiming, “Ed, you may kiss your bride-again!” They just couldn’t keep their hands off each other! Heather and Ed are not just joining as a couple, but as a family with their three children. These kids were too cute and were so excited for their mommy and daddy. Here are a few of my favorites from their ceremony. Stay tuned for the crazy, spooky reception and their gorgeous romantics to follow!

Heather & Ed {Engaged} Horror Movie Inspired in Ft. Worth

Love the zombies!

Heather and Ed came to me with a very different idea of what they wanted their engagement session to be. These two are tying the knot on Halloween weekend and wanted a spooky, horror movie inspired engagement shoot plus some “normal” photos as well. So I accepted the challenge and we had a blast! They chose their favorite creepy characters like ghosts, zombies, vampires and even an old gothic painting. It was great to have a change from the normal photos and release my inner “zombie”. Here are a few of my favorites from their session. I can’t wait for their wedding on Halloween, complete with costumes for all!
