It’s not every day I can get 3 generations of women together for a fun portrait! Loved that I got to catch up with little Sophie (hadn’t seen her since her 1st birthday!) and watch her play with her Mommy and Grandma. Thanks ladies for letting me capture your little tribe of girls! Rockledge Park in Grapevine was the perfect spot for this rambunctious 2 year old to climb and have fun. In addition to exploring we played games and did lots of fun things like ball and bubbles!
I just love this couple! Robby and Brooke live in Grapevine so we decided to do their engagement session over in their area. We had a lot of fun exploring downtown and then at the Botanic Garden. These two have such great chemistry and were so fun to work with! They brought along some photos they took in high school and we got some fun photos with them. I can’t wait for their wedding this next March. Here are a few of my favorite photos from their session!
At the start of Lauren & Joe’s engagement session Joe told me his goal was to make Lauren laugh as much as possible and I think he accomplished that goal. I loved that Joe was wanting to make Lauren smile so much. Seeing a couple laugh that much warms my heart. Here are some of my favorites from their Grapevine engagement session.
This little doll face is ONE! I am just head over heels with her attitude and all the FUN outfits Mom always brings to her photo shoots. On this day to celebrate turning one she had a summer time swim look, a bunny rabbit reading picnic, an adventurous Hawaiian romper, an aviator & a classic white dress. This girl is styling! She matches those outfits with spunk, cuteness and a sweet disposition. I have loved watching her grow this year and I can’t wait to see what a little lady she turns into. Happy Birthday Sophie!
Happy Birthday little Embry! This little shining light is the big ONE and oh and this year is flown. She is starting to talk, wants desperately to walk and any day now Mommy Meg will be chasing after this little girl. For her birthday session we were joined by Mom & Dad as well as one set of grandparents for some family photos. Loved this year watching her grow and I know her family misses her tininess but rejoices in all her growth.
Fresh out of the military Jason and his family is new to the area and I was excited to meet them and get to know little Tate last weekend for our mini sessions at Nash Farm. Tate is right at 1 years old and a sweetie that I could take home with me for sure. Don’t believe me? Look on for more of him in his cute little cowboy hat for proof. Love him and how much he lights up when he smiles and plays with his parents.
Oh my goodness what cuteness! This trio, along with their Mom and Dad, kicked off our fall portrait sessions last weekend and they stole my heart. Logan, 4, is SO much like my Alex I could play with him all day long. Big sis Samantha is sweet as can be and loves to love on her baby brother. Little man Liam is ONE and a replica of his Daddy in every way. Thanks guys for letting me capture your family and all the energy and spunk that your kiddos have!
Kayte & Justin live just down the road from Nash Farm in Grapevine so she was excited to have some photos taken at a place so close to home. Joining them was their adult daughter, Lauren, and their fur babies: Max & Callie. It is always so fun to work with families and their pets, these guys are allot like little kids but they were great. Love the doggies!
Harper & Cameron are such great young people! I know Mom, Kayte, must be proud of these two. It was fun hanging out with them for our mini sessions last weekend at Nash Farm in Grapevine. I love when parents don’t forget to capture their kids at every age. It is so easy to get caught up and forget to do things like portraits as your children hit their teenage years. One day photos like this will help them all remember this time in their lives and I am glad to be a part of it. See you all soon and next time, drag that Dad along!
