3 Generations Session – Sophie and her Mommy & GrandmotherRockledge Park, Grapevine

Tracy Autem 2015

It’s not every day I can get 3 generations of women together for a fun portrait!  Loved that I got to catch up with little Sophie (hadn’t seen her since her 1st birthday!) and watch her play with her Mommy and Grandma.  Thanks ladies for letting me capture your little tribe of girls!  Rockledge Park in Grapevine was the perfect spot for this rambunctious 2 year old to climb and have fun.  In addition to exploring we played games and did lots of fun things like ball and bubbles!

Cameron is 3!Generations Family Portraits at FW Botanic Gardens

Tracy Autem 2015

Always so happy when we get to get generations together in front of our cameras.  So fun to watch little Cameron play and laugh with her grandparents and parents.  I have adored watching this little munchkin grow up – she has changed SO much since her first birthday pictures!  Now she is 3!  She is fun, beautiful and a total ham for the camera.  Love you little one!  You are going to steal some hearts one day (oh wait, you already do!)

Extended Family Portrats at Van Zandt Cottage

Photo by Tracy Autem of Lightly Photography 2013 http://lightlyphoto.com

I am super proud of this family!  I think as we age and grow up we forget to document who we are as a family with our siblings and parents.  It is easy to get busy and only get together for a family photo at events and weddings.  This 3 sibings pulled together their family as a gift to their Mom this holiday season.  I think this is priceless and I hope more of my clients are inspired by this awesome photo shoot. Now, scheduling a large group can be hard so be sure to start brainstorming ideas well in advance.  A 1 hour full session is perfect for a photo shoot like this as we were able to get so many combinations of the family, individual couples, kids and of course Mom!  Thanks guys for trusting me to make this heirloom portrait for you all and I hope to do it again soon as your family continues to grow.

Ball Family at Cedar Hill State Park, Penn Farm

Jennifer and Phil were married several years ago and I was over the moon excited when we got a call from them for a family session with their little baby girl.  She is adorable and I am so happy for them to be welcoming precious little Madison into their lives.  Thanks so much for letting me photograph you guys again!

Adriana & her Great Grandmother – A Generational Portrait

Saturday little Adriana joined me along side her Great Grandmother for some very special portraits.  Adriana’s Mommy loves how close her own Grandmother has become with her daughter and I love that she thought to capture it!  I let them read, love a little and just get close.  One day this photos will be beyond priceless and they will help a Mom remind a daughter of so many special moments and I know they will warm hearts.  I have a very close relationship with my own Nannie (Grandmother) so this just made me so satisfied and filled with joy.

Parker Family Portraits at Nash Farm in Grapevine

The Parker family are super special clients because Laura, the Mom, is a fellow photographer and friend.  I was completely honored when she asked me to photograph her family for her and I loved getting to hang out with her 4 sweet children and her in-laws.  It is awesome when we can get grandparents in on sessions and take photos that show generations, it makes for photos that are surely priceless.  The older 3 children definitely dote on their little brother Jeff and the oldest girls have  a special bond.  During the session they kept wondering off together having a sisterly moment.  I hope I can continue to get to know this family as their friend as they surely have blessed me!
