Alexis & Jesse – Engagement Session at The Art Museums & Downtown Fort WorthFort Worth, TX

Alexis and Jesse are so much fun and they are absolutely perfect for each other.  Jesse knew just what to say to get some giggles out of Alexis by whispering sweetly in her ear that she smelled like Chick-Fil-A.  I mean, there are worse things to smell like, right?  These two have known each other for most of their lives, so they know each other pretty well.  Alexis tells us in her own words about how they met and got together:

“Jesse and I have been together for two and half years, however I have known him since I was six. I met Jesse as a child when he moved in with my aunt to finish high school. It was not until three years ago when really reconnected when we were both in my cousin’s wedding. That night we talked all night at the rehearsal dinner and then went for drinks later which then lead to dancing all night long at a wedding the following day. Jesse and I dated a month before we became official, but that was easy because we were already attached at the hip.”

I loved getting to know these two and I am so excited to photograph their big day this November!

Celine & Wesley – Ceremony at Texas Discovery GardenDallas, Texas

I had the pleasure of getting to know Celine and Wesley at their engagement session and was super excited for their big day!  They got married in front of the fountain at the Texas Discovery Gardens with gorgeous evening light streaming through the trees.  Celine is from Hawaii so there were fun little hints of Hawaii throughout their day.  Their wedding party was definitely a fun group and I had a feeling it would be a dancing crowd.  They didn’t disappoint!  Stay tuned for their reception!

Madeline and Colin – Engagement Session at Van Zandt Cottage and Sundance Square

Lightly Photography 2014 http://lightllyphoto.comI am so excited to get to share Madeline and Colin’s engagement session.  Seriously, these two couldn’t have been any cuter and the weather couldn’t have been more perfect.  Madeline and Colin met at TCU in their Stats class and will be graduating this year.   They will not be getting married here in Texas, which makes me sad, but up in Oregon where Madeline is from.  From what they’ve told me about their wedding day, it is going to be simply beautiful and I’m totally jealous that I won’t be photographing their big day.  I feel so honored to have had the chance to meet them and photograph their engagement session.  Please enjoy some of my favorites!

Laura and Jonathan – Engagement Session at Trinity Park and Downtown Fort Worth Sundance Square

Lightly Photography 2014 http://lightllyphoto.comLast week I met up with Laura and Jonathan over at Trinity Park for their fun engagement session.  i really enjoyed getting to know these two as we hung out and took some fabulous photos!  Jonathan proposed to Laura in Sundance Square in Downtown Fort Worth, so naturally that’s where we went next.  We kept going to spots right before lights would turn on so then we would have to go back to that spot and do it again.  In the end we got everything we wanted and they turned out beautifully!  Laura and Jonathan will be getting married in November and I can’t wait!  Please enjoy their Fort Worth Engagement Session.
