Spring is here and babies are popping up on my facebook news feed daily.  I was thrilled to hear from Kelly & Levi that they were expecting.  We photographed their wedding a few years ago and we love to see our families grow!  Little boy Graham will be here before they know it and I can’t wait to meet him.  His Momma and Daddy sure look great and I know they can’t wait to hold him.

I was SO excited to photograph this family last week.  A few years ago I photographed Callie & Jason’s wedding at Marty Leonard Chapel and Ashton Hotel and now they have this awesome big boy for a son.  Brady just kills me with his cuteness.  I mean, who could not love those curls and baby blue eyes!  This little man is in LOVE with trains so the tracks were the perfect place to capture his attention and allow him some time to play.  We were super lucky because a train actually happened by and stopped for us!  The engineer got off the train and invited Brady to climb on the steps and get his photo taken.  It was so sweet, there needs to be more men like that in the world.  Can’t wait to see how Brady continues to grow and I hope he will get to be a big brother soon!

Last weekend I hung out with an awesome couple. Katie and Leo are tying the knot in October and had such a cute engagement story. Since both of them enjoy playing golf Leo took them out to play at Mira Vista Country Club where Katie’s mom works. They played a couple of rounds and Katie could not figure out why Leo was going so slow! Then at the last hole she noticed a flag saying “Katie, Will You Marry Me?”. Then all of their family and friends popped out of the clubhouse as she said “Yes!”. These two were so sweet together and I definitely enjoyed getting to know them. This week I had the chance to hang out with and photograph Melanie & Kyle and their awesome dog, Spartan.  When Melanie first told me how good their dog was I was a little skeptical because mine is a little bit crazy, but she was right!  Spartan was the best behaved dog I’ve ever met and he seemed to enjoy just hanging out and having his picture made. Melanie & Kyle are such a sweet couple and I had a blast getting to know them.  They will be getting married at the Marty Leonard Chapel in Fort Worth and the reception will be at Stonegate Mansion in August.  I am very excited for their wedding day and I know it is going to be beautiful.  Please take a look at some of my favorite images from their engagement session.

I loved this sweet rambunctious girl.  Lilly can run and we had to chase her down MANY times during her session.  So glad I had the opportunity to photograph her with Dad and Grandma.  Lilly looked spunky in the outfit I pulled from my prop closet, the black tutu and blue hair bow made her blue eyes sparkle.  Dad did a great job with bringing a very appropriate prop, sunglasses.  I hope to get to see this little one grow into a beautiful little lady.

You are never to big for a game of peek – a – boo!

I am in love with this image, why?  Because as sweet and adorable as any little girl may be most like to run, play and have a knack for bruises and scrapes.  I think this shot completely captures what being a girl is.

Amy and Jeff were some of my first wedding clients. These two are having their second baby, and I am so thrilled for them. They live out in Louisiana now but came all the way to Ft. Worth to have their portraits done with their son Nathan. I haven’t seen Nathan since he was a baby so it was great to get to see him all grown up! He is going to be a great big brother. Last week I met up with one of my past clients, Ashley and her husband Steven. We had a great time catching up and getting some pictures for their Christmas cards! I am excited to share these photos I took of  Jenna and Brandon.  We started the day at some local fields and then walked around downtown Fort Worth. Jenna and Brandon told me they had been practicing their kiss and dipping for their wedding day so we ended their session with a dip. I am so excited for their wedding in Dallas in December with their ceremony at Grace United Methodist Church and their reception at Hickory Street Annex a venue I am so excited to be photographing  for the first time.

Last weekend I photographed the Medina Family. It was great getting to know them and their son Benjamin. Their cute little son was a ball of energy and turning 18 months, so we wanted to capture those moments. We managed to get lots of smiles and had a blast getting to know each other.

Last week I hung out with Kasey and her mom. They were so much fun! We laughed and joked around the entire session. Kasey is graduating next spring from High School and she is so excited. Her eyes were a gorgeous blue and it was impossible to get a bad picture of her. I wish her all the best for her senior year!
