One of my favorite things is photographing families who make each other laugh all the time. The Mauk Family was just that! We had a blast just shooting around our studio. Shannon bought her in laws a family portrait as a Christmas gift because they hadn’t had an updated one in a while. It was great getting to meet this family and joke around with them! Amy and Jeff were some of my first wedding clients. These two are having their second baby, and I am so thrilled for them. They live out in Louisiana now but came all the way to Ft. Worth to have their portraits done with their son Nathan. I haven’t seen Nathan since he was a baby so it was great to get to see him all grown up! He is going to be a great big brother. Last weekend I photographed the Medina Family. It was great getting to know them and their son Benjamin. Their cute little son was a ball of energy and turning 18 months, so we wanted to capture those moments. We managed to get lots of smiles and had a blast getting to know each other.

Last week I met up with the Couch Family for their Operation Love Reunited Portraits. This is such a great organization that gives military families the opportunity to get their portraits done. Christopher is being deployed overseas in just a couple of days and so Tagan wanted some portraits of their little family so that he could see them while he’s away. I had a great time getting to know them, and I hope that Chris stays safe as he goes! Here are a few of my favorites from their session.

Last week I photographed a the Hunter family. They were such a blast getting to know, and we had a lot of fun going to different urban spots around our studio. This was a big, loud family of 5 kids all within a couple years of each other. So you can imagine how much fun an only child had photographing this family!  Last week I was so honored to get to photograph little Jameson for his six month photos.  I have known both his parents since our days back at Boles Junior High and worked with Debra when she and Robby reconnected on Myspace. I was excited to get to meet their sweet  little boy and can’t wait to see how they continue to grow as a  family.

I love doing portraits for past clients! In 2007 I photographed Meredith and Justin’s small wedding at Lantana Lodge in Pilot Point. Justin was being shipped off to Iraq to serve in our military so they had a small wedding with just family to celebrate their marriage. Justin is being deployed again in the next few weeks so his family wanted to get a few updated portraits before he leaves. We had a great time catching up and I wish Justin the best of luck as he serves our country! Here are a few of my favorites from their session.

Last weekend I hung out with the Diaz family at the Water Gardens in downtown Fort Worth. Laura, their daughter wanted to surprise her mom and dad with a photo session for their anniversary.
