I am so excited to show the photos from Erin & Cory’s engagement session. They wanted a location that is sentimental to them so they chose to do the first part of their session at their home, the first one they bought together. They also wanted to include their 3 dogs, Bailey, Bennett and Harlow in the session. We then went to BRIK a new venue in Fort Worth. It was a good thing it was indoors bc it started storming right when we got there. We then got lucky and the storm broke so we were able to go on the roof and get some photos of the downtown Fort Worth skyline behind them. Here are some of my favorites from their session.
I am so excited to share Sarah & Nick’s engagement photos and I cannot wait until their wedding next month. Sarah & Nick wanted to include their dogs Murphy and Obie in their session and of course I am always a fan of dogs in pictures. I loved watching Nick delight in getting to snuggle and kiss on Sarah during their session. Here are some of my favorites.
A few weeks ago I met up with Christy and John for their Fort Worth engagement session. Christy and John first met in high school and reconnected a few years later. We started at Joe T’s where Christy grew up eating with her family every week and then headed over to College Avenue in Fairmount. They wanted to include their dogs Thatcher and Winston in a few photos and College Avenue was the perfect setting since it was the neighborhood they rescued Winston in. Here are some of my favorites from their session.
I met up with Vanessa and Arturo very early one morning last week to do our best to beat the heat. They brought their two adorable dogs Knox and Izzy to be in the photos since they played a part when Arturo proposed to Vanessa. I loved how I did not have to prompt Vanessa and Arturo to kiss or snuggle. They enjoyed nuzzling their noses together. Here are some of my favorites from their Dallas engagement session. I cannot wait for their wedding next month.
Sitting here on a snowy day it is funny that this is my last “makeup” session from December’s ice storm. Katie and Leo were one of my many couples scheduled for that fateful weekend and finally last Saturday we were able to get together with their pup, Hogan. We picked this nature area right behind the Fort Worth Stockyards for their session. The soft rustic feel and the bare winter trees were so pretty and went perfectly well with this little family. Hogan was very well behaved and it was great meeting him. Take care you two and Thank You for continuing to work with us to document your lives!
I can not even begin to say how excited I am for baby Deason Theodore to arrive! I love this guy before I can even lay my eyes upon him because his Mommy and Daddy are pretty special people. Daddy, Glenn, is a DJ that I am lucky to work with frequently so I am super connected to this family to be. It is always a huge compliment when some one I know places their trust in me for such an important event. Jennifer makes pregnancy look good and I can not believe she is 30 weeks, she has kept up her gym visits and taken great care of herself through out her pregnancy. You go MOMMA! I love the intimacy and strengthening of relationships that expecting a baby has on a couple and it was beautiful to see this couple so in love and ready for a new adventure. Their fur children, their Frenchie dogs, joined us for a few pics.
I have know Meghan a LOOOONG time and I was so glad to finally get her in front of my camera. She works at the Fort Worth Club so she may look familiar to some of our bride readers. This little family has never really had photos taken so I am excited to present to them their first REAL family portraits! The kids were awesome and the doggies, despite a moment or two of disobedience got their acts together for a few photos. Thanks guys!
Kayte & Justin live just down the road from Nash Farm in Grapevine so she was excited to have some photos taken at a place so close to home. Joining them was their adult daughter, Lauren, and their fur babies: Max & Callie. It is always so fun to work with families and their pets, these guys are allot like little kids but they were great. Love the doggies!
Damaris and Carlos are expecting a little girl named Emerie in just a few weeks! I can’t wait to meet her and I know they are dying with anticipation as well. They joined me along with their fur babies for some family portraits to showcase this special time in their lives. I always adore photographing maternity sessions as we only get to be in the special place of carrying a child a few times in our lives. Congrats you two! You are going to be awesome parents!
