Yesterday my little baby boy turned ONE!  I can’t believe it has already been a year, it flew by!  This last year has brought SO many blessings in all areas of my life and I wanted to share the best one with my clients and readers. Gideon will be having a Circus themed birthday today but yesterday we headed outside for some priceless portraits.  I made this awesome A-Frame tent from a tutorial I found on pinterest and then made a little bunting of paper flowers to add some color.  Giddy smashed a sweet cake from Creme de la Creme.  The cake they made for his birthday today is AH-Mazingly cute.  Like so cute I don’t want to eat it!  His sweet bow tie was from etsy and other odds and ends from our studio prop closet.  I love my boy and adore how his first birthday photos came out.  It was fun playing with a theme and creating something special for him.

Last week I did a fabulous wedding out at OW Ranch with Jamie from Tami Winn Events.   It was a beautiful May day and we were lucky to have a breeze to cool us down. Even though the breeze would occasionally become gusts of wind.  Tyler & Brian had a few surprises during their ceremony that were not planned with the gusts of winds, a big beetle landing on Tyler’s dress and a bee swarming the bridesmaids bouquets. Tyler & Brian then had a fabulous reception where they enjoyed spending time with their friends and family.  The day was complete with the following vendors.

It was a windy day and Tyler’s veil tried to take off a few times. Love how her sister would grab it each time it started to blow.

Since Andrea & Garhett had done the first look they were able to go straight into their reception and immediately start enjoying the evening with their guests. Once the dancing started it was non stop until the end of the night. Andrea & Garhett were tearing up the dance floor. Randal Stout Entertainment helped keep it rocking all night long. The whole day was amazing thanks to the coordination of Jamie Lemke from Tami Winn Events. The day was completed with the following vendors.

I loved how expressive Keshia and Jason were this past weekend with each other during their wedding at St. Patrick’s Cathedral and Petroleum Club.  From the minute I walked into the hotel room where Keshia was getting ready you feel the love and tell the great lengths their family and friends went to take care of them. This included taking an ill groomsmen to the hospital the night before as well as two bridesmaids jumping out of the car and running through downtown Fort Worth during Main St. Arts Festival to get the veil left behind at the hotel. Through all this Keshia and Jason kept smiling and once the reception started they kept each other laughing the whole time.  The day was completed by the coordination of Lucia Bitner of Foster Blue along with florals by Signature Production. The reception was kept rocking with Randy Ro Entertainment and they had fabulous cakes by Creme de la Creme.   Here are some of my favorites from their Fort Worth wedding.

I am so excited to share these photos from Jessica & Bryant’s wedding from this past Sunday at Piazza in the Village. It was such an amazing day with Jessica & Bryant surrounded by family and friends they don’t get to see that often since they currently live in California. Jessica & Bryant wanted to make the most of their time with everyone and had a blast dancing and celebrating with their friends. I was so glad to get to know Jessica & Bryant during their time here in TX and loved how they just made each other smile. Here are some of my favorites from their wedding.

Last weekend Jenna and Brandon got married in a beautiful ceremony at Grace United Methodist Church in Dallas followed by a rocking reception at Hickory Street Annex.  I loved a lot of the little touches they included into their day. They included a new tradition I had not yet seen with love letters and a wine box. They both wrote love letters to each other and locked it in a wooden box with a bottle of wine.  They each have a key and locked the box during their ceremony. On their 5th anniversary they are to open the box and read the letters to each other while drinking the wine.  I love this idea! Their ceremony was followed by non stop dancing and celebrating during their reception. Their day was complete with the following vendors:

Maria and John had an awesome reception with lots of details at their traditional Vietnamese wedding. Maria got her dress at one of our favorite bridal boutiques, Bliss Bridal. One of Maria’s favorite colors is PINK! They had a fabulous cake by Creme De La Creme that had some great big pink flowers, and a fun candy bar that featured everything pink. Jessica and Matt were married in a beautiful morning ceremony at City Club of Fort Worth.  It was followed by brunch with some of Jessica’s favorite foods. Their wedding was full of love from their friends and family.  At the reception their close family and friends spoke of how they had each touched their life.  The toasts ended with Matt talking about how when he first met Jessica he knew she was going to be a part of his life and that since that day they had not gone a day without talking. You couldn’t help but tear up. After the reception we went around downtown Fort Worth for some photos Jessica and Matt alone. The day was completed with the following vendors:

Last weekend I had an amazing time photographing the wedding of Marla & Jon. They are such a sweet fun loving couple.
