Hollis & Joey – Wedding Reception at The Modern Art MuseumFort Worth, TX

Hollis and Joey and all of their friends really know how to party.  Once the dancing began, it didn’t stop!  I think one of my favorite dancing moments was when Joey and all of his groomsmen did a little performance to a Back Street Boys song and then Hollis joined in right at the end.  There is also a tradition in Hollis’ family of playing the ZZ Top song, “La Grange”.  They had an inflatable alligator and all ended up dancing and rolling on the dance floor.  I’m not quite sure of the story behind this tradition but it was so much fun to watch!  Hollis and Joey danced up a storm with their friends and family and at the end of the night were sent off with streamers and a ride in a friend’s classic Mercedes.  I am so excited to share this fun wedding.  Congratulations to Hollis and Joey!

Hollis & Joey – First Look and Wedding Ceremony at All Saints Episcopal ChurchFort Worth, TX

Hollis and Joey’s big day was absolutely beautiful!  It was full of so much joy, emotion, laughter and fun. Hollis and Joey chose to do a first look, where they saw each other for the first time before the ceremony.  Their friends were so cute as they spied through the window to watch.  Hollis showed off her dress to her almost hubby and he gave a huge thumbs up.  I love first looks because they always seem to calm the nerves but at the same time bring out the excitement!  You know it’s getting real at that point and that you are about to marry the person of your dreams.  It was then time for the ceremony and everyone was in their place.  As it came time for Hollis to walk down the aisle I caught a glimpse of her in the stairwell, she was overcome with emotions, I could tell that she couldn’t wait to get down that aisle. It was one of my favorite moments of the night.  After a few moments of waiting with her sweet dad, the doors opened and she made her way to Joey.  It was a beautiful ceremony and now they are husband and wife!!  Check back for their fun Modern reception.

Lauren & CJ – Wedding Reception at Classic Oaks RanchMansfield, TX

What a party!!  After the ceremony, guests were invited into the reception room and had some delicious dinner provided by the Reata, which is always delicious!  Sweet toasts were given by the maid and matron of honor and best man and then it was time to dance, and dance they did!  Lauren and CJ rocked out with their friends and family all the way to the end of the night.  It was an incredible day!  I am so glad that they chose me to document their big day!  Congratulations Lauren and CJ!

Lauren & CJ – Wedding Ceremony at Classic Oaks RanchMansfield, TX

You could not ask for a more perfect day for Lauren and CJ!  With a 90% chance of rain all day, it ended up not raining at all and was absolutely beautiful.  Before the ceremony Lauren and CJ exchanged gifts.  It was so sweet when Lauren opened the first part of her gift and it was a Pokemon ball with a little Pikachu in it.  Lauren said that CJ often tells her “I choose you, Pikachu”, which is incredibly adorable.  Then she opened a second gift which contained a diamond necklace that has been in CJ’s family for generations.  After exchanging gifts and getting Lauren’s veil in place, it was time to walk down the aisle.  I always love turning my attention for a quick second to the groom as he anxiously waits to see his bride walking toward him.  CJ definitely wiped a few tears from his eyes as Lauren drew closer to him. During their ceremony, Lauren & CJ sealed a bottle of wine and a couple of letters to each other to be opened on their first anniversary.  It was a beautiful ceremony full of sweet laughter and tears of joy.  Check back for their awesome reception!

Courtney & Tyler – Wedding Reception at Van Cliburn Recital HallFort Worth, TX

After the ceremony we took a little pit stop at Bass Hall for a few more fun photos!  Courtney and Tyler then made their big entrance and it was time for the party to begin and boy, was it a party!  It’s always fun to see new and different traditions at weddings.  Courtney and Tyler are Aggies and so were a lot of their guests, so they asked all of their Aggie guests to bring their class rings to Tyler’s grooms cake for a photo.  It was neat to see so many rings together, not to mention a little nerve wracking having so much gold in one spot!  Courtney, Tyler and all of their friends and family sure know how to have a good time.  I don’t think that they dance floor was ever empty!  However, all good things must come to an end and we sent the newlyweds off to their Jamaica honeymoon through a tangled web of streamers.  It was a pretty perfect day and I’m so grateful that Courtney and Tyler trusted me to capture it for them.  Congratulations to Courtney and Tyler!

Courtney & Tyler – Wedding Ceremony at Marty Leonard ChapelFort Worth, TX

Oh my goodness!  I cannot stop gushing over Courtney and Tyler’s wedding day!  It was pretty much as perfect as a wedding day can be.  We started the day out getting ready at Courtney’s childhood home where everyone was excited for the day to start.  All of the girls were absolutely stunning with their floor length champagne colored gowns as they watched Courtney put on her wedding dress.  That’s the moment when everything starts feeling real.  Soon after Courtney was dressed, the power in the whole neighborhood went off!  Luckily everyone was done and ready to go.  Once we got to the church it was time for Courtney and Tyler to see each other for the first time.  I do believe Tyler had his breath taken away by seeing his beautiful bride to be in her wedding dress, especially after seeing that amazing illusion back.  We had so much fun with Courtney, Tyler and their wedding party!  Guests started arriving and it was time to get Courtney’s veil on and get her down the aisle!  The ceremony was beautiful with Marty Leonard a lit up at night.  It was an incredibly breathtaking view.  Please enjoy some of my favorites from Courtney and Tyler’s ceremony and be sure to check back for their reception!

Daniella & Stephen – Reception at the Ashton DepotFort Worth, Texas

Daniella & Stephen’s reception was dreamy! As they entered the reception they surprised their guests with a choreographed dance that included their wedding party and then went into their first dance.  I had a feeling this group would dance all night, and I was not disappointed!  Check out some of my favorite pictures from their reception!

Tori & Jake – Wedding Reception at The Ashton DepotFort Worth, TX

What a beautiful night!  Tori and Jake held their reception at the amazing Ashton Depot.  It was lit all warm and glowy, which was the perfect backdrop as they shared their first dance under the chandeliers.  Tori’s dad gave a sweet toast and welcomed Jake into their family, then the party was on!  We had so much fun on the dance floor with this group!  Unfortunately all good things must come to an end and everyone lined up outside as Tori and Jake shared their private last dance.  They then were sent off to start their new lives together!  Thanks so much for letting me capture your big day! Congratulations!

Tori & Jake – Ceremony at Robert Carr Chapel at TCUFort Worth, TX

These two Horned Frog alumni are married!  Tori and Jake were married at TCU’s Robert Carr Chapel on a perfect October evening.  We started the day getting ready over at the Worthington in Downtown Fort Worth.  With the TCU game on in the background, it was a pretty chill morning with Tori and her girls.  Things started to get real when it was time to put on the dress.  The tears started to shed once the gown, shoes and veil were all in place.  Tori was absolutely stunning!  Once we got to the church we had a fun time taking photos with the wedding party.  The girls were super cute and sassy, and the boys just plain goofy.  They were all so much fun, I knew that the reception was going to be a good party.  It was then time for the ceremony!  Tori and Jake wrote their own vows which were so sweet, and Tori even threw something in there that made Jake crack up.  They exchanged rings and then were pronounced husband and wife!  It was such a beautiful day and there is still so much more! Check back for their awesome reception!

Natalie and Robert – Wedding Reception at Fort Worth ClubFort Worth, TX

After the ceremony everyone headed over to Fort Worth Club for the reception.  Robert’s brother and Natalie’s sister gave some very sweet toasts about the kind of amazing people that Natalie and Robert are and you could definitely feel how much love they all have for one another.  After toasts it was time to party,  and what a party it was!  Thanks to the musical talents of the Limelight band,  the dance floor was constantly full.  And who knew that Robert could dance like that?  I sure didn’t!  These two, along with all of the friends and family, danced up a storm and had an absolute blast.  I am so sad that their day has come and gone, but I am so excited to be able to share their day with everyone.  I cannot wait to see what the future holds for these two.  Thanks for letting me part of your special day! Congratulations to Natalie & Robert!
