I had so much fun this past week getting to know Katherine & Bret during their Fort Worth engagement session.  I loved when Katherine told me the story of her meeting Bret. Her friend had two guys she wanted her to meet  and set her up with but after meeting Bret she had no interest in meeting the second guy since she knew she had found the one. and didn’t need to keep on looking. Another one of my amazing wedding clients back to update their pictures for the holidays!  Audra and Matt were married a few years ago and she has made it a yearly ritual to come  back for more pictures.  I love that!  It’s hard to believe but I think Audra and Matt have only grown more in love since their wedding and I swear she is more beautiful every time I see her.  Matt, you are ONE lucky man!  It was great seeing y’all again.

Kim and Andy were married a few years ago and had their wedding photographed by Sarah Rizy.  I was excited to get to know them more and work with them for a mini session over the weekend for some updated portraits.  I love these two’s laid back spirit’s and complete sweetness on one another.  Always good to see couples continuing to act like newlyweds!  Thanks guys for continuing to trust us to capture your lives!  We so enjoy you!

I am so excited to be photographing Allison and Luke’s wedding next spring.  They are getting married at a beautiful new venue called Thistle Springs Ranch and I know it will look amazing. I hung out with Allison and Luke by going around downtown Weatherford and then stopping by a vintage fire truck. Luke is a fireman so the fire truck was very fitting for their session. We then ended in a field with hay bales right in time to catch the luscious warm sunlight. Here are some of my favorites from their session.

I always love the opportunity to photograph at new location such as Farrington Field in Fort Worth.My first attempt to photograph Lauren & Chandler we encountered rain and had to reschedule but we got blessed with a gorgeous day last Friday.  Lauren & Chandler chose Farrington Field since Chandler is a football coach and wanted the football field to be one of their backgrounds.  We then proceeded over to Van Zandt cottage. I have been so excited to show the bridal portraits I took of Keshia last month at an amazing country location in Arlington called Howell Family Farms. Amy & Jared are a very country couple from Midland, Texas.  They will be getting married at River Ranch in the Fort Worth Stockyards in August and I can’t wait to photograph their country wedding.  When I first spoke with Amy she told me that it was important for there to be some green in their engagement photos, because being from Midland all they see is brown all the time.  Penn Farm at Cedar Hill State Park turned out to be pretty much the perfect place for them.  Not only did we get a lot of green like they wanted we even got lucky and found a big field of bluebonnets, which they seemed pretty excited about.  Amy and Jared were so cute together and I had a great time getting to know them.  Enjoy some of my favorite images from their Engagement Session.

Megan and Samuel had an intimate wedding this past weekend that was a true family affair. Megan’s sisters and brother in laws served in the bridal party and everyone in the family was pitching into help the day of. Megan and Samuel had an intimate wedding at OW Ranch with many of their friends and family coming in from out of town to celebrate with them. Megan and Samuel first met many years ago at Syracuse University and within those first few months of dating Samuel gave Megan a promise ring that she wore around her neck on their wedding day. I loved all the little personal touches they had like that on their wedding day. Here are some of my favorites from their Granbury Wedding.

I spent a fun filled afternoon with Katie and Trevor last week at Cedar Hill State Park for their engagement session. They are so adorable and sweet. I loved how they constantly kept kissing each other on their noses. It is a little joke for them. Katie  had kissed Trevor on his nose on one of their first dates and he had to ask if she meant to do that. They also brought along their two dogs who were entertaining and so well behaved. Stephanie & Robert are some of our past wedding clients who came back for us for their family portraits this fall. Being a huge dog person myself I love that they wanted to include their dogs Rivers and Haskell in the family portraits.
