Happy Easter from our families to yours!  In celebration of this day we wanted to share our Easter mini sessions photographed earlier this month.  A HUGE thank you to the 13 families that brought their children out to frolic with Bobby the bunny on our sweet yellow and gray lace vintage set.  Bobby, a caramel lop eared bunny rabbit, was patient and sweet with even the littlest of kids who came to play as you can see above.  Scroll on for over 50 beautiful photos of babies, kids, siblings and girls and boys that will steal your heart.  May your day be blessed and filled with joy!

OH MY GOODNESS!  These kids cracked me up, wore me out and sent me home smiling.  Last weekend my studio was filled with laughter and lots of cute valentines clad children for our themed mini sessions for the upcoming holiday.  I loved my Valentines set this year complete with a vibrant red and white Chevron backdrop with heart accents and a home made kissing booth.  It was actually really fun to make and I was super proud of myself for making it from some photo inspiration alone!  For a POP of color the AWESOME Tami Winn of Le Fleur Couture provided us with LOVE letters bursting with green flowers.  It was adorable and the perfect accent for our set!  These styled kids portrait sessions in Fort Worth are some of my favorite each year and I am stoked for the ideas I have up my sleeves for 2013!

Save the Date for Easter Mini Sessions coming MARCH 9th!  Last year we went bold and bright and this year we are going soft, subdued, yellow’s, grays, whites and pops of pastels with of course a live animal making an appearance!  Will it be bunnies or chicks???? We don’t know yet!

Yesterday I  had the privilege of hanging out with these three sweet sisters and their parents.  Scout, McCartney & Lennon are adorable!  Loved their fun textured and patterned black and white outfits, so classy and fun!  Mom and Dad did a good job too.

Thanks to the Medlock family for coming out this past weekend for our Holiday Mini Portraits at Penn Farms in Cedar Hill State Park.  Tonja is a fellow photographer and it is always an awesome feeling to have another pro in front of my camera.  I know how hard it is to let go and let some one else take the pictures and Tonja did a great job.  It really doesn’t hurt that her kids are so darn cute!  I mean, look at them.  Complete cuteness.  I think I may steal them (especially those girls with those beautiful blue eyes and blond long hair!)

These sisters were super sweet and each so unique in their personalities.  It was great to finally meet this family as my team has been able to photograph them before through Operation Love Reunited.  We met this family at the airport when Dad was coming home from deployment so it was great to see them all together and expecting baby number 4!  I know they will be finding out any day now if it’s a boy or girl and these sisters are split on if they want a brother or another sister.  I hope regardless the baby is healthy and perfect!

Tate is a munchkin full of energy and a boy to the bone and that made me just fall for him completely.  He completely reminds me of my own silly boys.  Tate’s Mom and Dad are another of my past wedding clients so it was great to catch up and meet this little guy.  You can tell how much fun he has with his parents in these two photos with each parent.  I love his energy and his sweetness.

Little Christian is such a perfect tiny man and I was beyond thrilled to finally meet him. Monique and Jorge are past wedding clients and I always love catching up and seeing how their lives have changed since the wedding.  I think having a precious boy equates to some BIG changes.  I loved his mess of curls.  You can tell how much Jorge is in love with his boy by his huge grin.  That grin is really familiar, I saw it ALL day at their wedding a few years ago.

This family just made me smile.  I loved their outfits, their spunky dog and their super fabulous kids.  Max and Magnolia are ADORABLE.  Like so cute I wanted to keep them.  (Yes, I admit I feel this way often at sessions.)  Max was definitely a doting big brother and was happy to hug on his little sis for me.  They got a little silly for me and were a joy to photograph.  Thanks guys for spending the morning with me!

Clay, Robin, Ian & Iris were my first mini session of the day last Saturday and they were a perfect start to what was a super fun day.  I have known Robin & Clay since before they were married from my church so I was super excited to have them in front of my camera for the first time.  I had never met their little girl and she is SO cute and Ian and his sweet curls just stole my heart.  Thanks guys for braving the cold and being a ton of fun to photograph.

I was SO excited to photograph this family last week.  A few years ago I photographed Callie & Jason’s wedding at Marty Leonard Chapel and Ashton Hotel and now they have this awesome big boy for a son.  Brady just kills me with his cuteness.  I mean, who could not love those curls and baby blue eyes!  This little man is in LOVE with trains so the tracks were the perfect place to capture his attention and allow him some time to play.  We were super lucky because a train actually happened by and stopped for us!  The engineer got off the train and invited Brady to climb on the steps and get his photo taken.  It was so sweet, there needs to be more men like that in the world.  Can’t wait to see how Brady continues to grow and I hope he will get to be a big brother soon!
