Benton turned one year old last week! She had a “Very Hungry Caterpillar” themed party, so of course we had to get some pictures of her reading the book! She even had the cutest little tutu to match! Benton wasn’t too sure about her smash cake at first, but once she got a taste of it I think she enjoyed it quite a bit. Happy Birthday Benton!
This small fry is ONE! Parker isn’t so small anymore as I was lucky to celebrate his big FIRST birthday with him last week. It was so neat that Mom scheduled the photo shoot for his actual birthday so we ate cake, made a mess, played with balloons and ran all over the place! Parker is walking, smiling big, getting excited about life and starting to talk. I am just so proud of him and all he has learned this year! So glad Mom and Dad were able to jump into some photos with their little man. With all the May rain one of my favorite parks has a pond that is overflowing but simply stunning right now!
What a glorious mess Graham made with his birthday cake! He was ALL about it. Mom, Kelly, thought it might be too big for a smash cake but I think Graham thought it was just right! Kelly brought this super cute red vintage high chair for his session and I loved it! It was perfect with his little overalls! So classic. Graham is a hoot and loves to stick his tongue out at pretty much all times. I am so sad for this little’s year to come to an end as I have enjoyed watching him grow from a newborn to a big boy! Happy Birthday Graham!
Pick a BOO! I am ONE! Little Olivia turns one in a few weeks and she is super duper sweet! Her Mommy and Daddy are past students of my husbands and they brought their darling little one in for her birthday portraits over the weekend! We met up at Trinity Park where Olivia smashed a cake, played with my wagon and took some charming pics with Mom and Dad. Loved her little face! Happy Birthday baby girl!
Little Reese is ONE! She is so big and has such beautiful big eyes and some hair that is adorable. Loved this little angel even if she was a little tired. My pearls were a huge hit, I think Mommy is going to have to get Reese some of her own!
This post is a 2 session kinda share. I love this family and their kiddos steal my heart every time. We met up at Trinity Park in Fort Worth for a few family photos and so Carson could give us all a workout. Man, that kid is fast! Some one sign him up for a 5K! I love his spunk, speed and sensitive spirit. He is one amazing little guy. Not to be outdone, his baby sister Ellis is ONE! It feels like we just did her newborn photos, where did this year go? This angel looks so much like her big brother but she has such a different disposition. It always amazes me the similarities and differences between siblings, my kids are the same way. For session 2 (the next day) we headed inside for some warmth at the studio for some play time with big bro and a smash cake. This girl gave me all the emotions but let me tell you, she loves some cake. Yep, cake was a win. Thanks so much for letting me see this sweetie grow this year!
OH my GOODNESS! I can not believe this little one is a year old already! I have loved watching her grow this year. I am truly lucky that people trust me to capture this all important first year for their children. From her newborn pics, to sitting, standing, and finally walking every moment has been so special. Her cake smash was especially cool because it was her first ever taste of sugar! I think she liked it. 🙂
A big thank you to Gold Dust Vintage for the sweet antique soda shop table and lace.
