Sarah and Aaron had such a fun filled day I knew I would not be able to share it all in one post.  I started the day at Sarah’s parents house where she was busily getting ready with her mom, sister and bridesmaids. We then headed to St. Patrick’s Cathedral which is such a beautiful church located in downtown Fort Worth. During their Catholic ceremony they had a friend sing who gave me chills as she projected her voice across the church.  I loved how cute Sarah and Aaron were being during their ceremony as they constantly were smiling at each other and how Sarah every once in awhile lean her head on Aaron’s shoulder. I  wanted to share some of Sarah’s bridal portraits we took at Thistle Hill in her gorgeous gown from Bliss Bridal Salon.

Lillian and Kyle hired me just over a year ago and it was so great seeing them after so long! Their wedding was a beautiful Christmas wedding filled with lots of special moments. It was really focused on family. My favorite parts during the ceremony were when Lillian’s sister and grandma sang different Christmas carols. They were so pretty. Then the pastor read from a book of wedding vows that they have had in their family for 50 years. This is one of my last weddings of 2011 and it was so special to photograph. Here are a few of my favorites from their day.

Last week we had a blast photographing Megan and Eric’s wedding. They had an A-list of vendors including, Tami Winn Events and LeFleur Couture who created some magnificent flowers, Bliss Bridal who did an excellent job at providing all of the bridal gowns, Something You Makeup Artistry, Ambiance Entertainment as their DJ, Turquoise Video Productions and of course the beautiful Bass Hall as their backdrop! With a crew like that how could you go wrong?

These two did it a little different then most weddings. They decided that after their reception they wanted to keep the party going with a rockin’ after party-complete with glow sticks and silly 80s glasses! It was a blast. One of my favorite moments from their wedding was the ceremony. Eric’s brother performed the ceremony and so he made it personal and exactly for them. It was very sweet for them to be able to share that moment with him. Another sweet moment was right after the ceremony when they realized they were married for the first time. They hugged and kissed and were just so excited. They began exclaiming to everyone in the room, “We’re married!”. Its moments like that that I love! Here are a few of my favorites from their day.

Maria and John had an awesome reception with lots of details at their traditional Vietnamese wedding. Maria got her dress at one of our favorite bridal boutiques, Bliss Bridal. One of Maria’s favorite colors is PINK! They had a fabulous cake by Creme De La Creme that had some great big pink flowers, and a fun candy bar that featured everything pink. Here are some of my favorite details from their day, as well as my favorite reception moments and some HOT romantics!

Last week I met up with Maria and John for a little nontraditional Bridal session. These two skipped out on tradition and wanted a session with just the two of them before the wedding day in a beautiful location like the Japanese Gardens in Ft. Worth. Maria got her lovely, flowy dress at Bliss Bridal in Ft. Worth. Maria and John will tie the knot next month with a traditional Vietnamese ceremony in the morning, and a rockin reception at night.

Mary & Bobby were such a sweet couple. These two were married last week at Christ Chapel Bible Church in Ft. Worth and had their reception at the Colonial Country Club. It was definitely a fabulous event with a great line up of vendors like Bliss Bridal who did all of their dresses, and Trey and the Tritones who rocked out their reception. I loved the way these two looked at each other all night, like they were the only two in the room. You could definitely tell how deeply in love they are I really enjoyed photographing their wedding and here are all of my favorites from their day.

Last weekend I had the pleasure of photographing Janie & Kelly Skillman. These two tied the knot at First United Methodist Church in Ft. Worth and walked across the street for their reception at the YWCA. I loved photographing this couple because they could simply not take their eyes off of each other (not to mention their lips!). These two had a fabulous team of vendors like Shea Thielemann Events, Bliss Bridal Salon, and great band called Top with Absolute Entertainment. There were people out on the dance floor all night long! One of my favorite moments of the night was when Kelly surprised Janie with their honeymoon- Bora Bora! I hope you two are having a blast! Last weekend I had a blast at Homer and Lily’s wedding at the Ft. Worth Club. These two were such a fun couple to be around, and with awesome vendors like the Ft. Worth Club, Damany from i-Entertainment and Bliss Bridal its sure to be a great wedding. I don’t think I’ve ever seen Lily smile so much! My favorite part of the entire day was their last dance of the day. The two of them had just a moment to be alone before they were wisked away by a horse-drawn carriage and Homer broke down in tears. Tears of joy just to be with his new wife. I don’t think there was a dry eye in the place after that! It is so special when the groom shows so much emotion over such an event. It definitely makes me love my job and want to do it well! Here are a few of my favorites from the night…

I am so excited to finally unveil these bridals to you! Lily and I met up early last month before her wedding to showcase her beautiful dress that she got from Bliss Bridal in Ft. Worth. First we stopped at the Fort Worth Club, her wedding venue and then we went to some more urban locations. Her wedding photos will be up soon, until then here are some of my favorites…
