Tory & Harrison – Reception at the Piazza on the GreenMcKinney, Texas

After the ceremony we took some wedding party photos before they entered their reception.  Tory and Harrison both did voice overs (where they say a sweet message) to their parents before the parent dances which had everyone tearing up!  Even me!  You can see more of the travel theme (I mean look at that cake!) in some of their detail photos.  I am so thankful I had the opportunity to photograph their big day.  Hope you enjoy some of my favorite moments from their reception!

Tory & Harrison – Ceremony at the Piazza on the GreenMcKinney, Texas

I had the chance to know these two at their engagement session and was excited for their big day!  Tory and Harrison met while they were at Texas Tech and came to know each other at the student rec center!  How fun!  They tied the knot on a cool February day surrounded by friends and family.  These two love to travel and incorporated that theme in their day.  The ceremony program was a passport (adorable!) and also incorporated globes everywhere.  Although they didn’t see each other before the ceremony, they held hands around a door and shared a few words before the ceremony.  It is such a sweet moment and I love it when couples choose to do that!  Here are a few of my favorite moments from the first part of their day!

Leah & Grant – Reception at City Club

This reception was FUN!  DJ Rod Baker kept the dance floor packed the whole night.  Towards the end of the night all the Aggies circled up to do the War Hymn, one of my favorite traditions!  Leah and Grant said farewell to all their guests after a very sweet and emotional private last dance. Check out my favorite moments from their day!

Leah & Grant – Ceremony at St. Patrick CathedralFort Worth, Texas

Leah and Grant got married on a very chilly winter day!  I had a chance to get to know this couple before the wedding during their engagement session, and was anticipating this wedding!  Leah and Grant are incredibly sweet together and even better… they are Aggies! Whoop!  They tied the knot at the beautiful St. Patrick Cathedral in downtown Fort Worth surrounded by friends and family and then headed to the City Club for their reception!  Check out some of my favorite moments from the first part of their day!

Courtney & Tyler – Wedding Reception at Van Cliburn Recital HallFort Worth, TX

After the ceremony we took a little pit stop at Bass Hall for a few more fun photos!  Courtney and Tyler then made their big entrance and it was time for the party to begin and boy, was it a party!  It’s always fun to see new and different traditions at weddings.  Courtney and Tyler are Aggies and so were a lot of their guests, so they asked all of their Aggie guests to bring their class rings to Tyler’s grooms cake for a photo.  It was neat to see so many rings together, not to mention a little nerve wracking having so much gold in one spot!  Courtney, Tyler and all of their friends and family sure know how to have a good time.  I don’t think that they dance floor was ever empty!  However, all good things must come to an end and we sent the newlyweds off to their Jamaica honeymoon through a tangled web of streamers.  It was a pretty perfect day and I’m so grateful that Courtney and Tyler trusted me to capture it for them.  Congratulations to Courtney and Tyler!

Courtney & Tyler – Wedding Ceremony at Marty Leonard ChapelFort Worth, TX

Oh my goodness!  I cannot stop gushing over Courtney and Tyler’s wedding day!  It was pretty much as perfect as a wedding day can be.  We started the day out getting ready at Courtney’s childhood home where everyone was excited for the day to start.  All of the girls were absolutely stunning with their floor length champagne colored gowns as they watched Courtney put on her wedding dress.  That’s the moment when everything starts feeling real.  Soon after Courtney was dressed, the power in the whole neighborhood went off!  Luckily everyone was done and ready to go.  Once we got to the church it was time for Courtney and Tyler to see each other for the first time.  I do believe Tyler had his breath taken away by seeing his beautiful bride to be in her wedding dress, especially after seeing that amazing illusion back.  We had so much fun with Courtney, Tyler and their wedding party!  Guests started arriving and it was time to get Courtney’s veil on and get her down the aisle!  The ceremony was beautiful with Marty Leonard a lit up at night.  It was an incredibly breathtaking view.  Please enjoy some of my favorites from Courtney and Tyler’s ceremony and be sure to check back for their reception!

Alicia & Kyle – Wedding Ceremony & ReceptionMansfield, TX

Alicia and Kyle got married! I knew these two were a compassionate and loving couple from the first time I met them. They are genuinely interested in building each other (and everyone else) up and supporting one another.  It was adorable to see them almost always holding hands in between the excitement and business of the day. Anyone in attendance can tell you it was a sweet and  emotional day for everyone, but especially Alicia and Kyle. It was great to see them tie the knot among family and so many friends and I am grateful to have been a part of it. Check out some of their special moments from the wedding day below.

Amanda & Aaron – Getting Ready & Ceremony at The OrchardAzle, Texas

I have been looking forward to this wedding for a while now!  Amanda and Aaron are both band teachers (believe it or not but they are not my first band teacher couple) so I knew this would be a good crowd!  Although they didn’t see each other before the ceremony, they were able to hold hands around a door, which is one of my favorite things a couple can do if they choose to not do a first look.

A cold front came through just in time for their winter wedding, and boy was it chilly.   The cold didn’t phase them, however!  Check out some of my favorite moments from their ceremony!

Marisa & Lance – Engagement in Downtown Fort Worth & Magnolia AreaFort Worth, Texas

These two get married this weekend, say what?!?  Although their engagement session was on a chilly day, I imagine we will have some beautiful sunshine on their big day!  Their proposal story is super sweet, and here is how Marisa said it went down:

We were on a ski trip in Colorado with a group of friends, and we were on our walk back to the lodge after our last day on the slopes. I (Marisa) had made a joke about this being the worst part of our day, since it was a real hassle to carry skis and walk in snowboots on the icy walking paths. Lance suggested stopping for a picture, since the mountain scenery was gorgeous and there were some nice spots. So while we did indeed get a few pictures, I got more than that when Lance got down on his knee and got the ring out. Of course I said yes, and back at the lodge our friends celebrated with us!

Can’t wait to capture their big day!
