I absolutely love photographing small, intimate weddings and Eileen and Aaron’s was one of my absolute favorites. you could feel how much love Eileen and Aaron have for each other and all week while working on their photos I continued to feel the warmth of their day. They had a ceremony behind Fellowship Church in Grapevine by the baptism waters followed by a dinner at Truluck’s in Southlake.  Here are some of my favorites from their Grapevine wedding.

I loved getting to hang out with Liz & Josh this past weekend when they came into down from New Braunsfels. They filled me in how they met on New Years Eve a few years ago through mutual friends. This weekend I am excited to be photographing Eileen & Aaron’s wedding in Grapevine.  It is going to be a small intimate affair with 25 of their closest friends and family.  I met up with them last Friday after they flew into town. They met over seas in Iraq when they were both their for work and did a majority of their planning from there. Aaron is super goofy and I love how he constantly was bringing a smile to Eileen’s face. I had so much fun this past week getting to know Katherine & Bret during their Fort Worth engagement session.  I loved when Katherine told me the story of her meeting Bret. Her friend had two guys she wanted her to meet  and set her up with but after meeting Bret she had no interest in meeting the second guy since she knew she had found the one. and didn’t need to keep on looking. Kendall & Jon love to spend their weekends on the boat at Lake Texoma so for their engagement session they wanted water to be a factor in their session. We started in downtown Dallas in the Arts District which offers beautiful architecture and a reflecting pool. From their we went to White Rock Lake and had fun walking around the lake wishing that the weather would warm up soon so they could be out enjoying the water. Over St. Patrick’s weekend I met up with Melissa & Carl at Times Ten Cellar where they will be having their reception in May. I had so much fun getting to know them over a glass of wine.  We went to many places that are significant in their relationship. We strolled by what used to be 8.0 where they met and went to the wall where Carl proposed to Melissa. Here are some of my favorites from their Fort Worth engagement session.

I am excited to share the second part of Kylie & Brian’s wedding day.  I loved that since they did the first look we had plenty of time to get a lot of romantic portraits of the two of them.  It also allowed them to go straight to their reception after the ceremony. I am excited to share the first part of Kylie and Brian’s fun filled day of love from last weekend in Wichita Falls. Kylie and Brian chose to do a first look and I loved capturing all the emotions they had as they saw each other and exchanged gifts.  Kylie teared up upon seeing Brian as he rounded the corned and I loved the enthusiasm as Kylie presented him with a baseball bat used by his favorite Houston Astros player, Craig Biggio.
