Abby & Casey – Wedding at The Fort Worth Club

Abby and Casey are married!  These two met playing soccer years ago and were married in the beautiful terrace of the Fort Worth Club complete with a fabulous view of Downtown Fort Worth.  Abby was escorted down the aisle by her mom and dad and she couldn’t have looked more stunning!  I love when ceremonies are full of memorable moments and Abby and Casey had several sweet, funny and tender moments.  During their vows Casey sweetly wiped a tear from Abby’s eye and just melted my heart.  After lighting the unity candle they were pronounced husband and wife and it was time to party!!  Everyone enjoyed cocktail hour with a fabulous all female mariachi band and then were all escorted into the ballroom to await the newlyweds.  Abby and Casey shared their first dance under the glowing light of the chandelier and then barely left the dance floor all night!  Nobody wanted to leave the dance floor, but all good things must come to an end.  Everyone gathered in front of the elevator and sent Abby and Casey off to start their new life through a tunnel of bubbles.  I’m so excited to share their day and so glad they chose me to capture it!

Nicki & Kenny – Wedding Reception at The Fort Worth ClubFort Worth, TX

Nicki and Kenny’s day went by way too fast, but was oh so much fun!  After the ceremony we finished up with their wedding party and had some fun with their photos.  Then we headed back to Fort Worth Club for the party!  After the dances and toasts, Nicki and Kenny had a fun way to include all of their guests in photos.  They did a selfie dash!  They went around to each table and each table thought of a fun pose to do with the couple.  It was such a great way for them to have a photo with everyone!  After that they, along with their friends and family, danced up a storm! We couldn’t believe it when it was already time to send them off on their honeymoon!  Before rushing off, they had one last private dance and then made their way to the elevators.  Everyone was sad to see it end but so excited to send the newlyweds off to begin their new lives!  Congratulations Nicki and Kenny!

RoseAnn & Ross – Wedding Reception at The Renaissance WorthingtonFort Worth, TX

RoseAnn and Ross are now husband and wife and it is time to party!  After the ceremony all of their family and bridal party greeted and congratulated them while guests cleared the chapel.  We had some time for Ross and RoseAnn to be alone for the first time as a married couple and then it was on to the reception!  They had a few more special moments up their sleeves for the reception.  RoseAnn changed into her special red boots and her daddy helped her put them on before going into their father daughter dance.  Ross and his mom then shared a dance together and RoseAnn reserved a special dance with her brother.  I just love how close they all are!  Ross had a cake shaped like the Ole’ Miss football field and it was fun to hear them scream their chant.  Guests enjoyed dancing all night to the musical talents of It’s Your Night Entertainment’s Jeremiah Brinckley.  Not only is he a fabulous DJ, but he sings too!!  It was a fabulous night but all good things must come to an end.  While all of their family and friends gathered in the hall to see them off, Ross and RoseAnn shared one last private dance together.  They then were sent off to their honeymoon through a tunnel of shimmering red pom poms!  Congratulations to RoseAnn and Ross!

Caitlin & Eric – Reception at BRIKFort Worth, Texas

We were able to slip outside during dinner for a few minutes to capture some fun photos of just Caitlin and Eric just before sunset. They are seriously so cute!  Instead of a cake, these two chose to serve custard which is a fun twist to the normal tradition.  After their sweet first dance and dinner, the open dancing started and the dance floor stayed packed the whole night.  Here are some of my favorite moments from their reception!

Brianna & Ross – Portraits at TCU Campus and Reception at the Modern Art MuseumFort Worth, Texas

Brianna & Ross got married in Hawaii (yes please!) and chose to have a reception here in Fort Worth for friends and family who couldn’t make it.  These two cuties met at TCU, so of course we had to go there to get some photos before the reception.  Let me tell you, these two are troopers!  It was a hot day, and by hot I mean Texas hot but they still walked around campus to get some photos!  We were able to explore the galleries at the Modern Art Museum, which is one of my favorite places here in Fort Worth.  They had a beautiful, candlelight dinner with some toasts and cake cutting to finish up the night.  I am so thankful these two allowed me to be a part of their day!

Kelly & Chris – Ceremony at Robert Carr Chapel Reception at Historic 512Fort Worth, Texas

Kelly and Chris are as sweet as they come.  This day was filled with so many special moments with friends and family.  Kelly’s father walked her down the aisle at the beautiful Robert Carr Chapel and you can just see the look of love on Chris’ face!  Their reception was held at the Historic 512 and featured a fun swing band.  There was not a single dry eye in the venue after Kelly’s father gave a toast welcoming Chris into the family!  Thanks for letting me capture your sweet day!

Jessica & Sidney – Reception at McDavid StudioFort Worth, Texas

These two had a great reception full of dancing and laughter.  Dancing is by far one of my favorite times during a wedding because there is so much energy and people can just let loose!  Jessica and Sidney shared a sweet last dance before leaving with a streamer exit!  It was such a joy photographing this great couple!  Take a look at some of my favorite moments.

Jess and Bobby – Wedding at Piazza in the VillageColleyville, TX

Jess and Bobby are basically like my spirit animals.  Their love of sports and Harry Potter are enough to make me jump up and down with excitement.  Bobby proposed to Jess at the Rangers Ballpark and that’s where we took their engagement photos.  Jess surprised Bobby by taking her bridal portraits at Cowboys Stadium (AT&T Stadium) and their ring box looked like the 7th Harry Potter book.  I mean I geeked out a little getting to know these two!  Jess and Bobby were married at Piazza in the Village in Colleyville and they made sure to incorporate all of these things into their wedding.  They had “Always” written across the floor at the beginning of the aisle, and the ring bearers carried the Harry Potter ring box to surprise Bobby.  There was a lot of surprising Bobby throughout the day.  After the ceremony Jess gave Bobby his next surprise, which was a small canvas of one of her Dallas Cowboys bridal portraits.  It was so much fun to watch him open it.  Their reception was held in the ballroom and was lit with blue uplighting and red table linens (Rangers colors) and the grooms cake had the logos from the Stars, Rangers and Cowboys.  Their guests signed a baseball bat as they entered that would later hang in their house.  Once it was time for the toast, it was also time for another surprise.  Bobby knew his step-dad was prepared to give a toast, what he didn’t know was that he was going to make Bobby sing!  Apparently in his school days, Bobby played Danny in Grease.  Naturally, we all needed to see his performance and he absolutely killed it!  After that it was all about the dancing.  All of their guests loved to dance, but nobody as much as Jess and Bobby.  Those two had several dance-offs and threw out moves that I’d never before witnessed.  They definitely accomplished their goal of throwing a fun party!  But all good things must come to an end and while their guests lined up outside, Jess and Bobby had one last dance alone as newlyweds.  They then were sent off through a tunnel of pom poms and left for their honeymoon in Bora Bora.  I am so excited for them and am so glad that they chose me to capture their special day.  Congrats to Jess and Bobby!

Hannah and Kevin – Wedding Reception at The Ashton DepotFort Worth, TX

Even though the rain may have prevented the ceremony from being held outdoors, it let up just enough for us to finish up photos outside!  Then Hannah and Kevin partied the night away with Trey and the Tritones.  They were having a blast catching up with friends and family and rockin’ it out on the dance floor.  While all of the guests lined up to see them off, they stayed behind for their private last dance.  I always love private dances but the Ashton Depot is always such a beautiful backdrop for it.  Once they made their getaway, I met up with them in downtown to get a few more fun night photos!  Thank goodness the rain stayed away for the rest of the evening.  Congratulations to Hannah and Kevin!

Lauren and Russell – Wedding Reception at Hickory Street AnnexDallas, TX

I can’t tell you how much I love photographing a good party, and that’s exactly what Lauren and Russell had was a GOOD party.  The Memphis Soul band kept everyone out on the dance floor all night long, especially Lauren and Russell.  It is always so fun to see brides and grooms let loose and have fun with each other and their guests.  I have to be honest, I did not think I’d ever see the crazy side of Russell.  That guy knows how to have a good time, from dancing with his new bride, to singing karaoke on stage with his brother!  I already knew that Lauren and Russell were pretty much perfect for each other, but watching them in this setting just solidified it for me.  If you can’t be your goofy self with the ones you love then life can get pretty boring!  Everyone was having such a good time that they just didn’t want the night to end.  They begged the band to play one more song, but unfortunately all good things must come to an end.  All the guests lined up down the steps and sent Lauren and Russell off to begin their new life together.  It was such a fun night and I am so glad that I was able to be a part of it!  Congratulations to Lauren and Russell!
