Last weekend I hung out with the Diaz family at the Water Gardens in downtown Fort Worth. Laura, their daughter wanted to surprise her mom and dad with a photo session for their anniversary. And what a great surprise it was! It was great getting to know this family, and spending the afternoon with them. Here are a few of my favorites…

The other week I had the pleasure of photographing one of my close friends Sherry and her beautiful family. I met Sherry when she was first pregnant with her daughter Aspen, who is now 3,  and I have loved getting to see her add onto the family this year with their 6 month old Hudson. Aspen is such a little character and Hudson is the spitting image of his big sister. Here are some of my favorites from their family portrait session.

Nick and Kelly are one of my favorite couples that I photographed last year for their wedding. So when they asked me to photograph their newest addition, Lucas, I was so excited! I absolutely love babies. And for their session I wanted to try something a little different, I wanted to capture the moments between their family in what we call a lifestyle session. Since their world has changed so much by Lucas coming in to it, I wanted to document the new joy that they are experiencing right now so that they never forget it. The other day I had the pleasure of photographing Cody and April Ragsdale and their adorable daughter Lily. I have known April and Cody for several years now. I grew up going to church with Cody and April and I use to be roommates in college and now we get to work together. She is owner of Princess Bride Productions. Last week I photographed one of our favorite vendors, Tami Winn of Tami Winn Events and Le Fleur Couture. Her girls Taylor and Tatum were definitely cuties! If you have gotten married in the last year you may have had this lovely lady as an assistant or second photographer at your wedding.  Michelle has been such a blessing to us and we are super sad to see her go but excited about what the future has for her.  In just a few weeks she will be getting married and joining her hubby in Arkansas.  There she will be launching her business and starting a life as  Mrs.  Before she left we needed to make sure she had some great images of her looking beautiful to use on her photography website and blog.  Michelle, we love you and a huge THANKS for all your hard work.

Can I just mention how much I love photographing seniors? Abby and I met through a past senior I photographed last year and we had a blast at her session! We went all around Ft.
