Celebrating 90 years of life calls for something truly unforgettable — and Haydn’s birthday party at The Social Space was exactly that. Thoughtfully designed, deeply personal, and filled with joyful surprises, this celebration honored a lifetime of stories while creating brand-new memories with family and friends.
From the moment guests arrived, the atmosphere felt playful yet refined. Art deco–inspired details, lush florals by Flowers on the Square, and unexpected dinosaur moments created a visual experience that felt both elevated and fun. Custom décor and rentals from Kane & Co., Perch Decor, Grand Events, and Shag Carpet Prop transformed the space into a celebration that felt layered, intentional, and completely unique.
One of the most meaningful parts of the evening? Interactive moments that brought everyone together. Guests crafted custom hats, shared a heartfelt toast by Haydn, and enjoyed a personal take on Bananas Foster — made just for Haydn. A surprise dinosaur appearance (thanks to Dino-Adventure) brought laughter across generations, while a lively second line band led guests into a rendition of “Happy Birthday” and celebration.
The soundtrack of the evening was unforgettable, with music by Mike Finkle Trio, while seamless production by Lightware Labs and Nuage ensured every moment flowed effortlessly. Catering by Bonnell’s Fine Texas Cuisine and valet service from Pinky’s Valet rounded out the guest experience beautifully.
