Lori & DB are such a great couple.  They are so playful and love to make each other laugh and were cracking me up the whole time I was photographing.  One thing I love the most about them is how throughout the entire session they were constantly saying “I Love You” to each other.  It melted my heart and you can definitely see how much they truly love and care for each other.  Not only are they an amazing couple but they have a pretty cool engagement story too.  DB proposed to Lori on a bench in Central Park and everyone in the park stopped to watch and root for them.  It sounds like something right out of a movie!  Lori and DB will be getting married in October and I couldn’t be more excited to photograph their special day.  Please enjoy some of my favorite images from their Fort Worth Engagement Session.

This is a session I did that really did come full circle for me. April and Jeff were wedding was the very first I ever shot over seven years ago and I am so excited to help them announce the arrival of their first baby. Megan & Carson got married this past month and are so happy to be united and starting their life together in Alabama after attending two different colleges in two different states.  They began dating in high school and the minister who married them had known them since they were children before they had even known each other.  They had a beautiful early evening ceremony at Robert Carr Chapel and then a reception with non stop dancing courtesy of LeForce Entertainment at the Petroleum Club.  Here are some of my favorites from their Fort Worth Wedding.

The word for this session is skulls! Katherine & Connor have an inside joke that when they put their heads together they like to say skulls. So of course I used this for the rest of their session and when I wanted them to get a little bit closer I just exclaimed SKULLS! Although I didn’t have to do it much since Connor loved kissing Katherine. Here are some of my favorites from their Fort Worth engagement session.

Tara and Dan were married at her parent’s ranch in Cleburne. It was a beautiful outside wedding right beside a small pond on their property. These two were so sweet to one another and it was such a joy to photograph them. They had some really cute moments throughout their day. Like when the ring bearer walked down as a “secret agent” complete with a ear piece and small metal box that contained the ring. Another great moment was when Dan saw Tara for the first time, his mouth dropped WIDE open! Tara also surprised Dan with a groom’s cake with a little Star Wars theme. He thought that was the COOLEST. Events by Hala did a great job of coordinating the day as well as DJ Clo kept the dance floor rockin all night long. Here are a few of my favorites from their day. Last weekend I hung out with an awesome couple. Katie and Leo are tying the knot in October and had such a cute engagement story. Since both of them enjoy playing golf Leo took them out to play at Mira Vista Country Club where Katie’s mom works. They played a couple of rounds and Katie could not figure out why Leo was going so slow! Then at the last hole she noticed a flag saying “Katie, Will You Marry Me?”. Then all of their family and friends popped out of the clubhouse as she said “Yes!”. These two were so sweet together and I definitely enjoyed getting to know them. I am so excited to share these photos from Barbara & Brody’s Wedding day at A&M Gardens. Barbara & Brody were so adorable and full so so much emotion.  They chose to do a first look and were so excited to see each other they had to run into each other’s arms.  I loved how Brody was tearing up the whole day. From the first look, to see Barbara walking down the aisle and during their private last dance. I couldn’t help but tear up watching their love. I LOVE this little girl.  It kind of helps that I love this little girls parents but she is super cute with her big blue eyes.  I love photographing all things wedding and in my mind this goes hand in hand with it.  Getting the chance to photograph my couples as their lives change once again is the coolest opportunity.  I remember Megan and Austin’s wedding day, the sun flaring through the clouds as they embraced outside of their church and their proposal story complete with cows.  The connection I have to them enhances my joy in photographing sweet little Addy.  She is 6 months old now and sitting pretty, pushing up and turning into a big girl.  To see how far she has come check out her newborn portraits.

Last week I did a fabulous wedding out at OW Ranch with Jamie from Tami Winn Events.   It was a beautiful May day and we were lucky to have a breeze to cool us down. Even though the breeze would occasionally become gusts of wind.  Tyler & Brian had a few surprises during their ceremony that were not planned with the gusts of winds, a big beetle landing on Tyler’s dress and a bee swarming the bridesmaids bouquets. Tyler & Brian then had a fabulous reception where they enjoyed spending time with their friends and family.  The day was complete with the following vendors.
