Stephanie & Robert are some of our past wedding clients who came back for us for their family portraits this fall. Being a huge dog person myself I love that they wanted to include their dogs Rivers and Haskell in the family portraits. They decided to have them done at Cedar Hill State park which is an amazing park where Robert works. Here are some of my favorites from their family session.

Alison and Alex had a mixing of the cultures at their wedding last week. The beautiful Hotel St. Germaine in Dallas was their backdrop which was perfect to describe Alison’s New Orleans/French background. These two had a small, but lovely wedding where it was really about the joining of their families and their cultures. To celebrate Alex’s Hispanic culture they decided to bring in a Mariachi Band for the end of the night. This was my favorite moment when the Mariachi Band came outside and began serenading the couple in the moonlight. It really was so romantic. Here are a few of my favorites from their wedding day.

I am so excited to share these photos from Sarah and Aaron’s engagement session. They had wanted a country and city look for their session and that is one thing that I love about being in Fort Worth. We have so many great places to go to with in short driving distance. We started the session at Van Zandt Cottage which happened to be right by Casa Manana where Aaron proposed to Sarah. We then went to downtown Fort Worth and walked around. They had other family members take their photographs with an umbrella with the letter P for their last name and I loved that they decided to carry on the tradition. Here are some of my favorites from their Fort Worth engagement session.

Andrea and Adam had such a sweet and happy ceremony at the YWCA in downtown Fort Worth.  I loved Andrea and Adam’s wedding because they decided to make it very unique to them and not follow the traditional rules. Andrea and Adam chose to see each other prior to the ceremony and I just loved their reactions upon seeing each other. Andrea also decided not to have bridesmaids and instead had bridesmen so the entire bridal party was men. During the reception I loved how Andrea and Adam could not seem to get enough of each other and I always caught them sneaking kisses.  Here are some of my favorites from their downtown Fort Worth wedding.

Last weekend I photographed the most adorable twins, Benjamin and Abraham. These two were so sweet and oh so serious! Here are a few of my favorites from their mini session in Ft. Worth.

Reannan and Jeremy were one of my craziest couples! I was so excited to photograph them because they are so unique and fun. This day was very special for them because not only were they uniting as one, but they were bringing a family together. Their two children, Jordan and Landon were such cute little flower girl and ring bearers. They did such a great job. They were married at Fossil Creek Country Club which was a beautiful location for an outside wedding. I loved catching all of the crazy moments that happened at this wedding-especially the crazy dancing! These two knew how to party. They danced out of their ceremony right into their first dance! Here are some of my favorites from their day.

October 19, 2011 October Sneak Peeks!

I am so excited to be heading out of town this weekend to Nashville for my best friends wedding where I will be on the other side of the camera as a bridesmaid. October has been a very busy month for us and I have been photographing like crazy. I wanted to share some sneak peeks of engagement and family sessions I shot this month as well as some photos of the amazing wedding I did at the YWCA this past Saturday! I can’t wait to share more from these sessions in the upcoming weeks.

Ashton and Cameron got married in an intimate backyard ceremony out in Lorena, TX. Ashton and Cameron are big animal lovers so they wanted to incorporate as many animals as they could into their day. I saw a first as Ashton rode in on horseback and their dog Pistol was their ring bearer. Pistol made sure he was in as many photos as possible. Ashton and Cameron chose to do a first look which is on of my favorite things. It was a windy day and threatened rain briefly but it held off until the next morning. I loved how Cameron would always gently move the hair out of Ashton’s face and would always have his hand on her back as they walked around speaking with their guests. Here are some of my favorites from their country wedding.

Alisha and Mickey were married last weekend in Muenster, Texas. Where is this little town you might ask? Well its a cute little German Catholic town just west of Gainesville. Alisha and Mickey currently live in Houston, but came back to this little town that Alisha grew up in to share this special day with their friends and family. These two shared lots of love on their wedding day, and celebrated with a Muenster kind of party-with lots of dancing! They definitely had some great moments throughout the day with their family. One of my favorite moments was when Alisha shared a dance with her grandfather. He was such a sweet older man, and I don’t think their was a dry eye in the room. Although it rained most of the day we were able to sneak outside and get some awesome romantic portraits. Here are some of my favorites from their day as well as their slideshow.

I had such a blast haning out with Andrea and Gahrett and their Fort Worth engagement session. Gahrett works in real estate so they wanted to incorporate some of the classic buildings in Fort Worth in their session as well as with their classic car. Andrea and Gahrett met on eharmony and instantly hit it off so we had to do some of their session in the eharmony t shirts.  I love how goofy and silly they are and how much they just love to laugh with each other. Here are some of my favorites.
