Maria and John had an awesome reception with lots of details at their traditional Vietnamese wedding. Maria got her dress at one of our favorite bridal boutiques, Bliss Bridal. One of Maria’s favorite colors is PINK! They had a fabulous cake by Creme De La Creme that had some great big pink flowers, and a fun candy bar that featured everything pink. Here are some of my favorite details from their day, as well as my favorite reception moments and some HOT romantics!

Last weekend I photographed a very different wedding then I’ve ever photographed before. Maria and John had a traditional Vietnamese ceremony. I loved getting to experience such a different culture and how they do things. First they began with a traditional Tea Ceremony where John and his family brought gifts to the brides family. They then began serving tea to their relatives. It was such an intimate ceremony of friends and family and I loved that they were all there to celebrate with them! After the tea ceremony in the morning we then rushed off to Christ the King Catholic church where they had a traditional Catholic ceremony. Their reception was held at Kowloon Restaurant in Arlington and boy was it yummy! There were all sorts of great Vietnamese food that Amanda and I were able to try, and I do love Vietnamese food! Jessica and Matt were married in a beautiful morning ceremony at City Club of Fort Worth.  It was followed by brunch with some of Jessica’s favorite foods. Their wedding was full of love from their friends and family.  At the reception their close family and friends spoke of how they had each touched their life.  The toasts ended with Matt talking about how when he first met Jessica he knew she was going to be a part of his life and that since that day they had not gone a day without talking. You couldn’t help but tear up. After the reception we went around downtown Fort Worth for some photos Jessica and Matt alone. The day was completed with the following vendors:

Last week I had such a fun time hanging out with Meg and Corey who’s wedding is coming up at the beginning of November. Meg and Corey are work together to flip houses so I wanted to take them to some places that look a little under construction so we started out at some walls around are studio. I also know they love the historic sides of Fort Worth so we went to the Old Post Office by downtown. Meg is making a lot of the decorations for their wedding so she brought along a LOVE sign to include in their session. Here are some of my favorites from their Fort Worth engagement session.

I met her parents, Tiffany & John,  a few months ago when they came to us through Operation Love Reunited and did a maternity session before John was deployed. Tiffany brought Olivia to us to surprise John to send him some photos while he is deployed. Here are some of my favorites from her newborn session.

I am so excited to share these photos I took of my boss Tracy and her family the other day at the Fort Worth Stockyards. I love that she trusts me enough to capture her family. Her second little one Gideon Matthew will be arriving in October and I can’t wait to meet him. If everything works out according to plan I will get to be there to photograph his birth. We were joined this day by So Glamorous by Lindsey Price who came with the cutest props for Tracy and her families session.

Erin and Danny’s wedding was a non stop party. From the minute the day started to the very end there were so many fun things going on. During the ceremony at Good Shepherd Catholic Church Erin and Danny had time to sit next two each other and I loved the glance’s they gave each other during the time the priest spoke to them. We then headed to their ceremony in downtown Fort Wort at the Worthington Renaissance. At their reception they had so many amazing things happen. Danny surprised Erin by singing a few songs to her. Erin’s mother then led some of the ladies in traditional Irish Dancing. They ended the evening with the Aggie War Hymn and as they excited the guests swung around the 12th man towels. This past Sunday I had an adventure with Kimberly & Rob. We started by going to Trinity Park and climbing on the railroad tracks there. We then went to various urban walls near our studio. We bonded over our love for the show GREEK which Kimberly and Rob described their relationship as the two main characters involving rival fraternities and sororities.  I always love hearing the stories of how our couples met and Kimberly and Rob were friends for years and started dating about 8 months ago and knew they were meant to be together.

This past weekend Heather & Kyle got married in a beautiful outside ceremony at A&M Gardens out in Azle, TX.   We were blessed that this Saturday there was a small reprieve from the 100 degree temperatures Texas has been having and it only got into the 90′s with a cool breeze.  It was an amazing day filled with  huge smiles and constant laughter even during the sand ceremony when the sand almost spilled everywhere. The day was completed with the catering, flowers, and cakes by Sissy’s Complete Catering.

I am excited to share these photos I took of  Jenna and Brandon.  We started the day at some local fields and then walked around downtown Fort Worth. Jenna and Brandon told me they had been practicing their kiss and dipping for their wedding day so we ended their session with a dip. I am so excited for their wedding in Dallas in December with their ceremony at Grace United Methodist Church and their reception at Hickory Street Annex a venue I am so excited to be photographing  for the first time.
