I am so excited to share the photos from Erin & Danny’s engagement session. I love how musical they are making everything. Danny brought his guitar along so I coaxed him into singing for Erin during their session. Erin comes from an Irish family and she tells me there may be traditional Irish dancing at their wedding reception. Here are some of my favorites from their Fort Worth engagement session.

Last week I hung out with Reannan and Jeremy in downtown Grapevine. These two are so playful! Both of them were running around climbing in trains and catching bugs. It was a blast getting to know them and hearing about their wedding day. These two are tying the knot in October, and they aren’t just tying the knot, but they are joining their families. Here are a few of my favorites from their session…

This week I went over to my brother and sister in laws house to photography my nephew Miles who turned 1 yesterday.  I was so excited since the first time I did for a portrait session for Miles. He has been such a blessing to our family and I can’t wait to see who he becomes, if he is going to have be strong willed like his big sis Audrey. Here are some of my favorites from their children portrait session.

Alison and Alex were such a great couple to work with! These two have been hanging out in the super trendy Bishop Arts District ever since they started dating. They knew all the fun restaurants and places to hang out, so of course we went there to photograph their engagement session. These two are tying the knot in Dallas in October. I can’t wait!

Last weekend I went out to Joel and Julie’s Home for a party celebrating Julie’s birthday. Joel had the home decorated with all her favorite things from her favorite flowers, drinks, color and food catered by City Club Catering. It was a beautiful evening, surrounded by her family and close friends. We always love the treat of photographing small private events like this.  I just adored her favorite things and her husband was so sweet to pull together this amazing party for her.  Here are some photos of her family and some of her favorite things.

This week I had the pleasure of photographing my good friend Rachel and her two sisters, Annie and Jessica. They are wanting to give their father a portrait for Father’s Day on June 19. I took them to a nearby field with tall grass and then to one of our favorite abandoned buildings. Here are some of my favorites from their Fort Worth Session.

Last week I met up with Claire and Brent in downtown Dallas for their engagement session. Claire is originally from New York City and when I initially  met with them they told me how her family thinks Texas is all country so for their session I decided we needed to show off Dallas as a city.  Claire and Brent are so naturally cuddly and affectionate with each other I didn’t have to give much prompting for them to kiss or snuggle.

Tessa and Lance were married recently in a beautiful ceremony at Paradise Cove in Southlake.  While we are used to Texas heat, this past weekend it was 10 degrees hotter than normal this time of year. Luckily being by the lake gave us a nice breeze.  I met Tessa and Lance about a year ago and could not wait for their wedding. One of my favorite things about them is the nickname Tessa has for Lance is “Pants.” The day was complete with many of the details handmade by Tessa and the flowers provided by A Rose in Bloom.  The reception was kept rocking by a classic rock band Long Shot but for their first dance and the parent dances Tessa and Lance had their close friends sing for them. Here are some of my favorites from their Southlake Wedding.

Last week I photographed a the Hunter family. They were such a blast getting to know, and we had a lot of fun going to different urban spots around our studio. This was a big, loud family of 5 kids all within a couple years of each other. So you can imagine how much fun an only child had photographing this family! Here are a few of my favorites from their session.
