Last week I had the pleasure of photographing one of our favorite vendors, Kelly Norvell of Bridal Blooms. It was great getting to finally photograph this special lady, because she did my flowers for my wedding! She is oh so great to work with and I love when my clients select her and her staff to do their floral design. She definitely knows her stuff and will design your flowers with tasteful, gorgeous blooms that will brighten up your wedding day decor!

Heather and Kyle are such an adorable couple. I love when couples show affection for each other openly and just love to kiss. That was Heather and Kyle who also loved to make each other laugh. We started the day at the Fort Worth water gardens and then headed over to Trinity Park. We had some much fun at both locations climbing down into the garden and on rocks at the park. Last week I hung out with Merillat and Trey, a super sweet couple from Tennessee. These two are getting married in Nashville but got engaged in Ft. Worth on the Reata Rooftop and Ft. Worth will always have a special place in their hearts. It was so easy to get along with their goofy personalities, and I even found out that Merillat lived not too far away from me in Asia as she was growing up! We had fun going to all their favorite Ft. Last weekend Amber and Jay got married in a beautiful intimate ceremony at  Fort Worth Club.  Amber and Jay currently live in Virginia but held their wedding in Fort Worth since Jay grew up in the area. I only met them last week but it was such a joy to photograph their wedding. In the short time I got to know and see the love they have for each other. The evening was completed with beautiful flowers from leFleur Couture and the reception got rocking by i entertainment. Here are some of my favorites from Amber and Jay’s Fort Worth wedding.

Last week I went out to Grapevine with Kimberly and Andy. Kimberly and Andy got engaged at the Fort Worth Stockyards and will be getting married there later this year in September. They still wanted a country feel to their photos and since Andy works on trains we went out to the train depot in Grapevine. Kimberly also wanted Hay bales for their photos and I was able to find some along with a barn filled with hay stacks. Here are some of my favorites from their Grapevine engagement session.

Since I turned  30 this past year I am beginning to try and take better care of myself so it was great speaking with Sandi in regards to make sure you take the correct path to health through eating well and exercising. Last weekend I met up with Michelle and Justin, one of my lovely couples for the summer. These two currently live in Iowa so they flew down for the weekend to spend some time with me at some of their favorite Dallas spots. We cozied up at the Arboretum and then some more urban places in Uptown. Last weekend Kaitlin and Paul got married in a sweet ceremony at University Christian Church just a few buildings down from where Kaitlin and Paul met in class at TCU. The ceremony was followed by a beautiful reception at The Renaissance Worthington that was decorated beautifully by Kelly Norvell of Bridal Blooms and had amazing cakes from Creme de la Creme. Yesterday I was so excited to get to meet Amber & Jay. They currently live in Virginia and will be getting married this weekend at the Fort Worth Club. I had spoken to Amber several times over the past few months but was excited to spend time with her and Jay and get to know them during their engagement session . We discovered that Jay and I had graduated High School together. I also heard the story of how they first met. Jay credits his ankle injury to meeting Amber because if he hadn’t of hurt it he would have moved and would not still have been in Virginia to meet her through their mutual friend. I am so excited to share Kaitlin’s bridal portraits I took last month at the Bass Hall in Fort Worth. When Kaitlin showed me a photo of her dress she purchased from Mockingbird Bridal in Dallas I fell in love with it immediately.  I just love the unique black flowers at her waist and the flower details in the dress.
