The rain didn’t stop these two from gettin’ hitched last weekend! Jacob and Taylor had a gorgeous wedding at Grapevine Botanical Gardens and then a dinner with all their guests at Buca Di Bepo. Even though we all got a little wet, it was worth it to see these two so happy and in love. This wedding was so much about the moments for me. I loved how close and intimate their wedding was and I felt like I was able to capture that through the images. Throughout this whole process I’ve felt as though I had known them for years and it was so great getting to be apart of their day. These two are off backpacking in Europe right now and I hope they are having a blast. Here are a few of my favorites to surprise them with while they are walking through the streets of Italy icon smile Mr. & Mrs. Jacob Alvarado A Grapevine Wedding

September 27, 2010 Abby – Class of 2011

Can I just mention how much I love photographing seniors? Abby and I met through a past senior I photographed last year and we had a blast at her session! We went all around Ft. Worth and even got to play a little soccer. Abby has some mean soccer moves and showed me what it is all about (since I never played sports in high school, I was in awe!). Here are a few of my favorites…

Welcome Eden Elizabeth & Finley Scott!  I was so excited to meet these little ones last week.  Trish and Scott are one of my couples that were married a few years ago and I was SO excited when I found out they were expecting twins!  I love photographing newborns but this was a new one for me, double trouble, two at once!  They were actually absolute sweet hearts and were super cooperative during the session.  Little Eden & Finnley’s first year will be documented with one of our first year packages with 4 session to capture them at all their important milestones.  I can’t wait to see them grow together.

Last weekend I took such joy in photographing Kassie and Randy’s wedding in Wichita Falls at Life Tabernacle Church.  We started the day at Kassie and Randy’s home where Kassie got ready with all her girls. We then headed to the church for the ceremony.  The ceremony and reception were decorated with an amazing bird and birdcage theme that included live doves that were above the couple as they said their vows. Kassie and Randy are both musicians so Kassie decided to surprise Randy by singing “At Last” after she walked down the aisle. I loved  being able to capture the love in his face as she sang to him. We completed the day by going around Wichita Falls. We started at Midwestern State University and then ended in downtown Wichita Falls. Here are some of my favorite’s from their Wichita Falls Wedding.

September 11, 2010 Mr. & Mrs. Devin Carey

Last weekend I photographed this steamy couple as they got married at St. Paul Lutheran Church and later their reception at the Fort Worth Club. It was a celebration of the joining of a family as Tiffany’s daughter Ensley got to be apart of everything and welcome in her new stepdad! This couple knew how to party and had awesome vendors like Bliss Bridal Salon, PicFlips for fun photobooth flipbooks, and Creme De La Creme for their cakes. They also practiced and performed two choreographed dances, one by themselves and one with their daughter and their HUGE bridal party. It was a blast and I could tell it was all a team effort icon smile Mr. & Mrs. Devin Carey Here a few of my favorites from their day…

This little girl is precious and dear to my heart.  She is my niece and I adored her before I ever met her.  Ruth’s story is not uncommon but was definitely not expected.  This angel was diagnosed with spina bifida while still in the womb and her family made some huge commitments to ensure she had the best care.  This unfortunately meant Sarah, her Mommy, had to be away from her husband and 4 little girls during the last several months of pregnancy as they joined a clinical research study in San Francisco.  I was ever so blessed to come into their home to capture Ruth’s 4 big sisters meeting her for the first time and them being reunited with their Mom.  To read more about this amazing little girl and her journey you can ready my Sisters blog, www.ruths-story.com.  Welcome home baby Ruth!

Last weekend I had a fantastic time photographing Marilyn and Will’s sunset wedding at Paradise Cove in Southlake. We were blessed with a relatively cool evening for August in Texas. After the Ceremony they had a rocking reception. The band kept the party going by playing many different genres of music. I just love how goofy Marilyn and Will are with each other and how much they enjoy just having fun. Here are some of my favorites from their North Texas Wedding.

Last weekend I had a blast at Homer and Lily’s wedding at the Ft. Worth Club. These two were such a fun couple to be around, and with awesome vendors like the Ft. Worth Club, Damany from i-Entertainment and Bliss Bridal its sure to be a great wedding. I don’t think I’ve ever seen Lily smile so much! My favorite part of the entire day was their last dance of the day. The two of them had just a moment to be alone before they were wisked away by a horse-drawn carriage and Homer broke down in tears. Tears of joy just to be with his new wife. I don’t think there was a dry eye in the place after that! It is so special when the groom shows so much emotion over such an event. It definitely makes me love my job and want to do it well! Here are a few of my favorites from the night…

I am so excited to finally unveil these bridals to you! Lily and I met up early last month before her wedding to showcase her beautiful dress that she got from Bliss Bridal in Ft. Worth. First we stopped at the Fort Worth Club, her wedding venue and then we went to some more urban locations. Her wedding photos will be up soon, until then here are some of my favorites…
