These two decided to do what we photographer’s call a “first look” which allows the bride and groom to spend some special moments alone together before the ceremony. It’s definitely one of my favorite things to do at a wedding because I love capturing that moment that they see each other for the first time alone. Robbie waited impatiently as Karen walked towards him to show him her dress and she could not stop giggling as Robbie told her funny stories from the day. Those are definitely the moments that I live to capture.

I have only one word for Christina and Joseph’s wedding day. Love. The whole day you could feel the love Christina & Joseph have for each other an the love their families have for them. It was such a wonderful day and I feel so blessed to have been there to photograph their day for them. I loved watching how Joseph was so excited to see his bride walk down the aisle and could not wait for her to join him as his wife. I loved being with them after the ceremony and just hearing the tender words they whispered to each other.

Christina and Joseph got married at The Renaissance Worthington in downtown Fort Worth. The reception was a blast with a Mariachi band playing during dinner and Randy Ro providing the music for the rest of the evening. Here are some of my favorites from the day.

A few days ago I met up with the Lester family to catch a few shots of the three of them. Kodi, their little girl, is such a cute baby! We had fun hanging out at the museums, as I learned that it really is a small world, we had a whole list of mutual friends! Here are a few of my favorites…

Last weekend Ryan and I ventured out into the cold to take his senior portraits. We had fun laughing and getting to know eachother as we talked about his upcoming college life and graduating. We definitely had fun exploring some old trains and walls. Here are some of my favorites…

Last month Suzanne and Todd got married at The First Presbyterian Church of Fort Worth. The ceremony was followed by a beautiful reception at The Fort Worth Club. The reception was very school spirited with both Suzanne and Todd breaking out into their Alma Mater songs. After the reception I followed Suzanne and Todd back to their hotel and witnessed him carrying her over the threshold. The next day they jetted off to an amazing honeymoon in Europe. Here are some of my favorites from their day.

Last week Krissy and John flew all the way down from Chicago to do their engagement session. We waited until the rain stopped to sneak out of the studio for some great shots! The other week I had the pleasure of going to Graham, TX and photographing the Vincent family on their property. I had a blast exploring the property with Brandee, Sid and their son Bren. In Graham they have all sorts of wildlife and deer that they raised. While I was there I also did some senior portraits of Bren who will be graduating next year. Here are some of my favorites from the day.

A couple of weeks ago I showed you a sneak peek of one of the fabulous weddings I shot back in November. Passion and Jesse were married at the Gaylord Texan in Grapevine. What a beautiful wedding! Their wedding coordinator, Karmen from KP Events did such a fabulous job of making Passion & Jesse’s day an unforgettable one. Then they snuck off to Playa Del Carmen, Mexico for their honeymoon and it was such a treat, considering my fiance and I are going to the same place for our honeymoon in just a few short weeks!

Probably my favorite part of the night was seeing Passion & Jesse out on the dance floor. These two knew how to get down! And without a care in the world they did just that, all night long. Even when no one else was on the dance floor they danced the night away, as if they were the only two people in the room. I absolutely loved photographing this couple, and I hope to get to work with them again in the future. Here are way too many of my favorites…

A few weeks ago I hung out with Courtney and Race an adorable couple who met through a mutual friend. We went to a few of my favorite places in Fort Worth. I loved seeing how tender Race was with Courtney picking her up and carrying so her shoes didn’t get dirty and brushing her hair out of her face as the wind blew it.
