Lauren and Jordan are an adorable couple who met as students at Dallas Baptist University. They got married earlier this month at The Tribute on a beautiful day and it was such a joy to photograph their wedding. They had a rocking reception with everyone on the dance floor dancing. Here are a few of my favorites from the day.
Courtney and Ryan were married a couple weeks ago at their church in Dallas followed by a reception at Las Colinas Country Club. It was a great night as they danced the night away and later rolled off in a classic Rolls Royce.
One of the things that impressed me about their wedding was that Courtney and Ryan were definitely surrounded by the best of friends on their wedding day! These people went above and beyond to help them out and show that they cared. From applying their makeup, to singing at their reception, even cheering as they gave their first kiss! They definitely made their day that much more magical. So hats off to their friends and bridal party! You guys are awesome!

I am just a handful of weeks away now from my first baby being born and last week my associate Sarah Bunyard headed out to play with me. I love being behind the camera but being in front of it is always a great experience as it helps me to understand my clients insecurities, quirks and sometimes strange conversations with their loved ones. Very few people are naturally comfortable with a lens pointed their direction but my husband, J.W., and I had a great time laughing, being silly and of course intimate and close to one another.
We brought props like balloons, a few outfits and checked out a location I have been dying to shoot in….a laundry mat! It was awesome and I am excited to share some of my belly shots with my amazing clients. I will be on maternity leave from shooting from Nov 14 until the new year but of course will still be available for meetings, emails and phone calls. Little Alexander Wayne Autem is due the beggining of December and the bith is being captured by a good friend of mine so Sarah Rizy will make sure and post some newborn photos as soon as he arrives. A few weekends ago I had the joy of photography Tabitha and Brad on their beautiful wedding day. They got married at Lantana Resort over looking Lake Ray Roberts. It was beautiful to listen to Tabitha and Brad take their vows as the sun set behind them . Here are some of my favorites from the day.
Monica and Bret and I have been friends for such a long time now. So when they asked me to photograph their wedding, I jumped at the chance! It was so great getting to hang out with them as we journeyed to some new places around my neighborhood. We nearly missed the rain showers as it began sprinkling during our session, but the gorgeous clowdy skys (a photographer’s dream!) lasted till the very end. I can’t wait to photograph their wedding at A&M Gardens next June. From the sounds of it, it is definitely going to be unique and a little quirky….just like them! Love you guys!

A couple of weeks ago I had the pleasure of photographing one great looking couple! Mariah and Cortney were married at one of our favorite locations, A&M Gardens in Azle. It was such a beautiful day, and since they were married on a Sunday, plenty of people were able to make the trip out there. This couple was definitely a fun one to work with. From the moment we did their engagement session last year, I knew their wedding would be unforgettable. And with that rosy glow of the sunset paired with this steamy couple, it definitely made for some H-O-T pictures!

The other week I had the chance to photograph Jessica and Rafe. They were married about a year ago in a courthouse ceremony but had not had the opportunity to have some photos taken of themselves since being married. They are talented musicians in a band called Surprise, Surprise. We had a blast going around to various walls around our studio and by the train tracks. Here are some of my favorites from their session.
A few weekends ago I had the pleasure of photographing Kelly & Nick at the stockyards in Ft. Worth. It was great seeing them again after photographing her brothers wedding in June. We hung out in the stables down there and even got to touch the horses! Not to mention being chased by some chickens and geese. I definitely had a great time laughing and seeing their goofy sides. Here are a few of my favorites, their wedding is in just a few weeks and I can’t wait to see them again!
One thing this girl knew how to do was DETAILS! Rosie was the master, taking an average looking building behind the rodeo grounds in Decatur and transforming it in a palace! This wedding was so pretty. Rosie & Evi were married at the courthouse a year ago, but wanted to have a beautiful wedding at their church to share with their family and friends.
There day was FULL of fun. In the morning they had a beautiful ceremony at one of the prettiest Catholic churches I have ever seen, Immaculate Conception, in Denton. Then, we were off to their reception. After a couple of hours we stole away to go change and get some GREAT pictures at their farm out in Decatur. Then we arrived back at their reception to continue with the festivities and dance the night away. A long day, filled with so much joy! There were so many to choose from, but here are just a few of my favorites!
