PerezEng11.14.09Blog 011 Passion & Jesse Engaged!

A couple weeks ago after much torment from the weather Passion and Jesse and I were finally able to do their engagement session. And how much fun it was! We explored downtown Dallas finding some cool walls, fabulous couches and one funny little pigeon (who decided to walk through many of our pictures!) Its always a thrill to go down to Deep Ellum, because you never know what you will find or who you will meet.

Passion and Jesse were definitely a fun couple to photograph. Passion is such an outgoing, fun loving girl while Jesse is more quiet and reserved. But she definitely brings out the best in that man. In fact every time he looked at her his face lit up into a HUGE smile. Here are some of my favorites.

Vanessa and Paul were one of those couples that every photo I edited they could not keep their hands off each other! It was great. I love it when couples have that connection between the two of them, and I absolutely love photographing it! Their wedding was at the historic YWCAlast month and it was so much fun. The YWCA is one of my favorite Ft. Worth locations because it is historic, and has a very vintage feel. Which is fabulous for pictures!
Their wedding was a fusion of the Mexican and Arabic cultures, which made for a TON of dancing. They even pulled Sarah Rizy and I into a couple of them, so much fun even if we had no clue what we were doing!

Here are a few of my favorites from their day.

Last month I had the joy of photographing Diana and Jeremy on their wedding day. They got married in the chapel at the First United Methodist Church in Fort Worth. What a beautiful church. After the ceremony we went to the Fort Worth Stockyards where they had a rocking reception in the Stockyards Station where Jeremy was a dancing machine leading everyone onto the dance floor. It was a great night and I have loved getting to know Diana and Jeremy the past few months. Here are a few of my favorites from the day.

Bohannon7.18.09 004 Mr. & Mrs. Trevor Bohannan

A couple weeks ago I had the pleasure of photographing our very own Tracy Autem’s brother’s wedding in San Angelo, TX. Trevor and Amanda were married in a small, intimate wedding held at his mother’s Ranch. It was beautiful. The spot they chose to get married at was a cute little bridge that Trevor and Amanda had built with their very own hands while they were dating. It was definitely a treat to get to be there to celebrate this time in Tracy’s family and to get to photograph her little brother on one of the happiest days of his life.

Trevor and Amanda decided to do something a little different and had what we photographers call a “first look”. They were able to see each other before the ceremony which made the day a lot less stressful and allowed for tons of pictures of the two of them. We escaped for a while to an abandoned house that we found down the beaten path. It was definitely a great opportunity to get to know them.
Here are a few of my favorites.
