A couple weekends ago Jamie and Peter were married in an intimate backyard wedding surrounded by family and close friends. It was a relaxing evening where everyone just enjoyed each others company. It was a great night and here are some of my favorites.
Last week I went out with Alison and Mike and battled the Texas heat. Despite the heat we managed to have a blast. They told me about how they first met sitting next to each other at Razzoo’s and each claimed the other one kept bumping into them. Their relationship started with Alison and Mike not keeping their hands off each other and that’s how it continued on into the engagement session. I loved that they were constantly kissing and hugging and not wanting to be separated.

I had the pleasure of photographing Jamie and Peter last week just a few days before their beautiful backyard wedding. I love spending time getting to know our couples. In talking with Jamie and Peter we discovered we had a mutual friend who was actually present when Jamie and Peter first met. It really is a small world.
Jamie and Peter were so much fun just wanting to play the whole time, from playing piggyback, play fighting, to hide and seek, and to splashing in the water. Here are some of my favorites.
Kristin & Matt were definitely troopers at their engagement session a couple weeks ago. They endured the temperatures as the day went on into the 100s when we were done! There were definitely many times where all we wanted to do was jump in the lake to cool off! I loved hanging out with these two.
From the moment we met I knew that hanging out with them would be a blast! There was never a dull moment with them, as they told jokes and just had fun being goofy. They definitely made the heat just a tad bit more bearable! Their wedding is in August at the Piazza, and I can’t wait.

Crazy, unexpected things always seem to happen on wedding days. No wedding is exactly the same and that is why I enjoy my job so much. This was definitely true for Rachel & Zach at their wedding out in Sherman, Texas a couple weeks ago. The day was complete with snakes, and an unexpected fire due to out of control sparklers! That didn’t stop these two from tying the knot. They took the day in with laughter and just a few tears. After all, it wouldn’t be a good wedding without a little excitement! I absolutely adored this couple and their wedding was beautiful. Here are a few of my favorites…
Last month Kelly and Richard got married on a beautiful afternoon at the Marty Leonard Chapel followed by their reception at City Club of Fort Worth. Kelly and Richard are such a calm and relaxed couple. I loved photographing them not having a care in the world but just to enjoy each others presence for their special day
