A few weeks ago Camille & Julian Lacey welcomed their first little one into their family, a little girl, Jillian. I had the privilege of hanging out in their home with them for a few hours and capturing this precious one for her upcoming baptism and dedication. She was so well behaved and just mesmerized by my lights. Here are a few of the most adorable shots we took that day.

May 25, 2009 Welcome Jillian Lacey!
May 25, 2009 Mr. & Mrs. Brandon Booth
On May 2nd Kristen and Brandon had their beautiful wedding on one of the rainiest days this month. Their ceremony was at the most amazing church, St. Elizabeth Ann Seaton Catholic Church in Keller. It’s classic Byzantine architecture and brightly colored ceilings and dome are just breathtaking. Their reception to follow was at City Club Fort Worth with entertainment by Randy Ro.
Some of my favorite things about their day:
Kristen’s amazing Winnie Couture gown from bliss bridal, fun bridesmaids dresses (they were cocktail dresses!), a to die for cake, flowers, and fun lottery tickets as favors. Oh, and the best were some dramatic romantics shot with the video light at the City Club and down town Fort Worth. Here are few shots showing some of their wedding day moments. Congratulations you two!
May 21, 2009 Wedding Tease & Memorial Day Weekend!
Oh my gosh has May flown by in record time! This month we have shot so many weddings and portraits between these crazy bouts of Texas rain. This week I will be out of town for a destination wedding for one of our own second shooters in Mississippi. The office will be closed until Friday of next week so please bear with us if it takes a few days for us to get back to you.
With such a busy month processing weddings is taking us the full 6-8 weeks and about 3-4 weeks to blog and get the slide shows up. So I thought as a Memorial Day treat to Kristen & Amelia I would post up a shot from both their weddings.Enjoy!
May 21, 2009 Alexis & Pete Engaged!
A couple weeks ago I spent the day with Alexis and Pete at the Botanical Gardens in Ft. Worth. These two are tying the knot in October in El Paso, but wanted to capture some moments in Ft. Worth for their engagement session. I hung out with Alexis, Pete and their adorable poodle, Sophie all day at the Botanic Gardens followed by the Museums in downtown Ft. Worth.
It was such a hot day outside that we ended up jumping in the fountain for some fun afterwards!
May 20, 2009 Mr. & Mrs. Joseph Miller
A couple weeks ago I spent the day with one of my favorite couples, Kelly & Jo. The day was spent at the beautiful Canyon West in Weatherford, TX.
May 18, 2009 Mr. & Mrs. Justin Huston
Loving. That is my word for this special wedding day. From meeting with Teresa & Justin last year I knew their wedding would be one that would stand out. At their engagement session I had so much fun that it totally got me riled up for their wedding. On 4.25.09 I was not disappointed as these two blew me away. From Justin’s ear to ear grin and little wave at Teresa as she walked down the aisle to the glances through out the ceremony and the priceless expressions on the dance floor this wedding rocked!
Here are some of my favorite moments from their day and a few from their post reception shoot at my favorite down town Fort Worth field. Since their wedding reception ended at 8pm we took advantage of the sunset light right before they headed off to their hotel.

May 17, 2009 Michelle & Kyle Engaged!
Michelle & Kyle will be getting married in just a few weeks at he end of June and we finally hooked up last week for their engagement photos. Both of them are nurses and there fore work some crazy hours so between that and rain it took some work to get us all together.
These two are goofy and sweet and we walked around the studio neighborhood and used some of the great old buildings just up the street for their session before heading to the train yard. We had great light and I think by the end these two had decided having their photo taken wasn’t half as bad as they thought. I love the challenge of those who deem them selves un-photogenic. Here are some of my favorites and I can’t wait to shoot their wedding at Garden Manor next month.
May 15, 2009 A Denton Engagement Shoot!
This is a super special couple because the groom is one of our many second shooters. He often shoots with Sarah Bunyard at her weddings and he also does much of our marketing design. When he asked me to shoot their wedding I felt honored and super excited. Why? It is in Natchez, Mississippi this coming weekend! It is going to be at a beautiful old plantation and I think it is going to be so much fun.
A few weeks ago the three of us and their pup Tulip hung out up in Denton and took some engagement photos. Here are a few of my favorites.
May 7, 2009 Mr & Mrs Michael Wagner
Holly & Michael were married a few weeks ago at beautiful church I had never been to before in Fort Worth. It had such a classic look, stone walls and stain glass windows, it really added to the mood of their wedding witch was a joy to shoot. Then we danced the night away and had a blast at one of my fellow Fort Worth South venues, Marquis on the Magnolia. This historic hall is just blocks away from our studio and has amazing light in the evening as the sun sets.
Their day was so much fun, and they are super sweet and in love. Holly cried all the way down the aisle as she approached her soon to be husband. They had a blue & white themed candy bar with mini Hershey’s bars with their initials, blue jelly beans, rock candy and so much more. It was yummy. Awesome flowers by one of our favorite florists, Bridal Blooms. When the night finally came to a close it wasn’t near over as the couple and some of their friends headed to downtown Fort Worth to keep the party going.
Congratulations you two!
May 6, 2009 Mr. & Mrs. George Marshall
A couple weeks ago I had the pleasure of shooting a wedding at the fabulous Old Red Courthouse in Downtown, Dallas. Gayle and George were such a delightful couple from the very beginning. We bonded over our shared love of this beautiful venue, from the huge windows to the turquoise walls! It is definitely one of my newest favorite locations!
Probably my favorite part of the day was when Gayle saw George for the first time. Her face lit up with excitement and from then on it never went away! I knew I was in the presence of true love and friendship. I wish these two the best of wishes and have fun in Italy with all your new luggage
