Megan and Austin are so super cute and I just adore the expressions Megan made through out her wedding day. They were so great to work with and honestly I had so much fun that it wasn’t like work at all. Megan & Austin did a first look, seeing each other before the ceremony can take a lot of stress off and it allows us to spend more time with the couple taking photos alone. We ran around down town Cleburne and took advantage of their beautiful church. My favorite part of their day was the gift exchange. Megan bought Austin a mandolin and he had an IOU for her, a puppy! Since the wedding they have added to their new family a silver lab named Cash! Here are some of my favorites from their day.

Brian and I met up at our studio a few weeks ago. We explored all the crazy walls down there as well as an awesome old machine shop! We definitely had a lot of fun and I managed to get a few great laughs from him. Brian aspires to be a firefighter some day and it was so much fun to hear all the dreams this kid had, and I can’t wait to see where he will be in 10 years! Congratulations Brian! You made it!

A few weeks ago I met up with Becca at the Dallas Arboretum for her senior pictures. We had fun getting to know one another, laughing and exploring the gardens. Then we headed down town to mix it up as we ran around Deep Ellum to some of the fun walls. Becca brought her bright green prom dress along which stood out from everything and looked awesome on her. I think my most favorite photos were taken at the end of the day as she just loosened up and rocked it. Here are some of the photos that stood out to me, she looks beautiful.

Little Logan is a trooper as despite being a little sick we hung out this week and took some photos of him and Mom & Dad and even the family cat! Here are some favorites from his newborn session.

So exciting when one of my couples invite me in sharing the next big step in their lives after the wedding is over, welcoming a baby. This week I spent a few hours at Michelle & Jason’s home with their precious little princess Aurora. She has a princess name, after the princess in Sleeping Beauty. Here are a couple cute shots of this doll and her parents.

Brittney and Bobby DiFulgentiz were married on April 4, 2009 in Dallas, TX. Details, Details, Details! That was truly what made this wedding unforgettable.What a fun couple! From the moment we met it was instant chemistry and I knew their wedding would be truly amazing! And of course with awesome vendors like Jordan Payne from Jordan Payne Events, Mark Pederson of Randall Stout, and Frosted Art combined with some absolutely beautiful venues, like the Perkins Chapel at SMU, and Belo Mansion this day was definitely made complete!
I loved being around these two throughout their day. The instant they saw each other, whether it be fleeting glances or long embraces, their eyes lit up and laughter was sure to follow. What a true blessing to be apart of this special day with them!

A few weekends ago Bliss Bridal in Fort Worth hosted a trunk show for Sara Gabriel Veils and accessories. Wendy, the owner of Bliss, invited me and a couple of my brides to come in and take some vintage pin-up inspired shots of this fabulous line of veils.

Sara Gabriel’s bird cage veils are just to die for and can add a fun and classic twist to any gown. The line also includes some amazing jewelry and hair pieces from feathery flowers to delicate bling. I have never seen such perfect pieces to compliment any look.

A big thanks to everyone that made it out a few weeks ago for our open house. It was great to meet all our neighbors and see some familiar faces. We will be completely moved in and operating out of our new space by May. Once we are in we will be posting some images of the interior.

Right now we are waiting on final finishing and the flooring. Still can’t decide on what I want for the floor! Man are we picky.

Watch out the love train is coming! Jackie and Virgil and I hoped on some trains in down town Grapevine earlier this week and hit some other spots for their fun session. These two were naturals just laughing it up and loving on one another. They felt awkward at first (as most of us do when being photographed) but they fell right into a great rhythm.

A few Sundays ago on a beautiful afternoon I trekked around various locations in Fort Worth with Poonam and Ameet. They were a fun and joy to be around and entertaining by even showing me some Bollywood moves. I’m excited for all the travel they are going to be doing, including a trip to India, in preparation for their wedding in December. They will be getting married in St. Lois where Poonam is from. Poonam and Ameet met while in college through a mutual friend. I am so excited for them for their wedding celebration and wish them luck during their travels.
