Saturday Daisy and Miguel got married and I was so blessed to work with them. Their wedding was a challenge since the entire thing from start to finish was in Spanish but we had a blast. I was touched by their devotion to one another and the beautiful Hispanic traditions they brought into their day. I finally got to hear Miguel sing a song at the reception to Daisy and he was awesome. Even in Spanish the emotions in the song effected me. They played games I had never seen at a reception and we did my very favorite thing: a first look.
A first look is where the bride and groom see each other before the wedding for a special photo session of just the two of them. They hid around the corners of the building and Miguel’s jaw dropped when he saw her for the first time. Then we hit down town Hillsboro for some fun portraits of just the two of them. A first look makes it easier to get those awesome shots everyone loves form their engagement session on their wedding day.
Congrats you two! Here are just a few of my faves that I shot so far and I will post a few my associate Sarah took later this week.
